Taves Roofing

Taves Roofing did my roof in July 2015. The service was excellent, their work was professional, and the clean up was perfect. Tony was punctual and answered any questions. Would highly recommend this company to others.

I had a leak one day and panicked. Called Taves and right away Tony was at my house on the roof patching up the problem area. Shortly after, scheduled a new roof to be put on. The job was done quickly and professionally. Would highly recommend this company to others.

I was particularly appreciative of the information which Tony provided right from the start. He answered questions and provided ideas about how to do some changes. His workers were polite and did a strong job of cleaning up at the end of the job. As far as can be determined (the first rain will tell us more!) it would appear that the job has been well done, and completed.

I had an excellent experience with Taves Roofing. Tony was very responsive, a pleasure to work with, and their quote was very competitive. They replaced my old tar and gravel roof, and I liked that they used commercial grade materials, the Soprafix 660 system. The roofing team were friendly, professional and completed the project in under 3 days, and on budget. There was heavy rain the day after the job finished and it was nice to see everything working perfectly. I received 5 quotes for this job and chose Taves because they were competitively priced and professional to work with.

It took me about 7 quotes and almost a year to hire a roofing company that I felt comfortable with. My husband and I finally decided to pull the trigger when Taves came along, I had seen one of their trucks and sign along the road locally and thought hmmm maybe they are good. When I interviewed them they had all the WCB and insurance etc. in place they used all of the materials that I had come to learn over the past year that would be important to a quality job. The warranty offered and product seemed to be top notch. When it came time to do the job the guy we booked the job through (the sales person) had left the company, however Jason who has been with Taves 17 years, reached out to us and set up a time to do the job. I guess as with most contracting type work the timeline is not always as it is indicated, the communication although it eventually came...at times could have been more prompt. I am one of those people that likes to know what is happening at all times. The end result is that the guys that came and worked on our roof did a stellar job, they worked hard to complete it in a timely manner staying late when needed. Their clean up considering the mess and the 2 layers of roof to remove was fantastic. For me replacing our roof was a big expense and you just dont know what you're going to get as this isn't something we do every day. Would I hire them again probably, would more communication for me have been better definitely. But again the end result is that they did what they said they were going to do and even a couple of things that the estimator although agreed to verbally when we signed the contract and discussed thoroughly had not written down. Jason held up his end of things based on what the guy who sold the job had said, we were very satisfied with that. In hindsight as much as you think you're on the same page as the person selling the job make sure that its all written down so there is no confusion later.

I had a complicated roof with many outstanding issues and Richard and his company were the only roofers who took the time and had the patience, professionalism and experience to answer all my questions regarding the scope of the job and offer the most practical solutions. Moreover they completed all the work in a timely manner to the highest standards for a fair price. I would not hesitate to recommend them for your roofing needs!

I had Richard come and give a free quote and he noticed some blackspore mold in my attic !! So grateful that he's an experienced tradesman because I probably never would of noticed it in my son's room due to rarely going in there!! He also noticed that my bathroom exhaust fan wasn't hooked up to the vent properly!! Jim and Cody did a fantastic job and were very professional. My wife and I are extremely happy with the quality workmanship and a very fair price!! Even the cleanup afterwards was very meticulous!! They did everything that they said they would do and more!! Thanks to Richard and his crew!!

The salesman was very specific when he told me what his company would do. He explained what materials they would use and they did every thing he said they would do. Their workers did a first class job, hard workers, cleaned up after each days work. Everything we asked for was done, and we were very impressed with their company. We would highly recommend them to our friends and neighbours.

Richard, Tony and their team did an outstanding job of replacing our flat roof / torch on membrane. They used quality products, made some significant improvements to the roof, and did a very good job of clean up. I would not hesitate to give my full recommendation to this company and their leadership team.
