Sky Kitchens

Our kitchen really needed to be more functional with extra cupboard space as well as a modern update. We contacted Sky Kitchen having read the reviews on HomeStars. One of their designers, Sukh (also the President of the company), came to our home and discussed our ideas with us and promised to be in touch. In only a couple of days we travelled to Sky Kitchen's showroom and factory and went over the plans that Sukh had drawn up. We were impressed with the plans, the estimated cost as well as the factory itself.
The general contractor, Raja and his brother arrived on the day that was specified and work began. Throughout the process of the reno, we were impressed with the skill and professionalism not only of Raja but of all the workmen associated with the project. Everyone who was involved with our kitchen seemed to take a personal pride in their work and tried to make sure that we were pleased with the result.

Although, there was a delay of several days (which accounts for the less than perfect score....although if it had been possible we would have given a 9.5), the kitchen turned out wonderfully !
The quality of the cupboards and drawers is top notch. The crown molding is a real plus as is the fact that many of our shelves in the cupboards are slide out and soft close.

Sukh, followed up by revisiting us to make sure that all was as it should be. He noticed that there was a spot where a couple of puck lights might be installed and is arranging for this to be done soon.

All in all, even with the extra delay as mentioned above, the renovation is terrific.

Sky Kitchen created a new kitchen design that was well above the other companies. The the whole experience from the design to the instalation as well as the follow up servicde was outstanding. This company really cares about their customers and will ensure that you are completly satisfy with the end product. I Stronly recommend them.

My wife and I were shopping for a dream kitchen and became very frustrated going to various kitchen maufacturers in the GTA. We had a very good idea of what we wanted for our existing space and the kitchen designers could not fit our needs.We then found Sky Kitchens and Sukh and his team were able to design our kitchen and met our needs .The results are outstanding and we've never had so many compliments on the quality and beauty of our kitchen. GREAT JOB!!!

We just had our kitchen remodelled by Sky Kitchens. We were more than satisfied with Mohammed's service, always making sure we were happy. Sky Kitchen's installers do a great job. the only thing that was upsetting was at the end when I had to call 3 times just to have the fillers put in at the side of my stove which took all of 5 mins. I must say though Mohammed was unaware and once he was notified it was taken care of immediately. Would we use them again, YOU BET!

We want to thank Mohammad Allam(kitchen consultant) for a timely job done to our satisfaction by designing and installing the basement kitchen.We are more than satisfied with the installers aswell.We deffinately are looking forward to get our main floor kitchen done by skykitchen and would reccomend Mr Allam to others as well.

This is the second project by sky kitchens. I have known the owner Suk Sahota for more than 12 years. I was very pleased with the first kitchen project they did for me. Suk is a honest business man who keeps his word and kitchen was beyond my expectations with a few extras at no cost. The crew was punctual and very professional

I was very pleased and happy at the craftmanship that I had my main kitchen reno done by SKY kitchens in July 2012.
The kitchen was finished on time and looks very elegant. Same degree of timeliness and professionalism.I am very happy and I would recommend them to anyone. A great big thank you to Suk and his team.

We and my cousin purchased properties (one property each) from one of the worst builder closing in May 2012 and knew they were going to give us bad kitchen. So we planned to out a new kitchen altogether from Sky Kitchen. So we contacted Sky Kitchen (Binder) and got quotes and designs. They were expensive from others we shopped around but heard a good name of them. So we decided to go with them. Binder took extra care and time on our kitchen design and fire place cabinet and gave us June 14, 2012 for installation. And they delivered on time (2 days late....lol.. which is OK) Both Kitchens are excellent and my fire place cabinets are great. We got 95% what we were looking for. (no one can deliver 100% anyways). The thing I most admire is that they send their installation crew as many times as we pointed out any problem or to fix something as of yet (Sep 06, 2012). We bought a resale home with a typical main floor laundry room layout that just wasn't going to work for our large family. Sukh designed a brand new layout, and maximized the space by converting the existing closet into a bench/cubby/coat hook area, where our children can store their shoes/boots, hats/sunglasses, etc. Each child has his/her own space for storage and getting ready in the morning. There are shoe shelves, drawers, cupboards, and open shelving, all providing much needed storage - as well as crown moulding and shoe moulding to finish off the look.

On top of the quality of the work done, the price was unbeatable! We had this project quoted by several other companies and SKY Kitchen's price was untouchable.

Sukh at SKY Kitchen is always so helpful, and full of advice/suggestions to help optimize the design. Sukh and Sonika at SKY Kitchen were also very friendly, warm, and hospitable every time we visited them at the showroom. Sukh was very accommodating to our schedule, meeting with us after hours at his office, at our place, as well as scheduling an online meeting where we could actually see the design being modified right before our eyes, on our computer screen, from the comfort and convenience of our own home!

We would definitely use SKY Kitchens again for a future reno project - our kitchen is next on our list of renos.

We had a complete Kitchen renovation done by Sky Kitchens in March 2012. It turned out to be a model DREAM Kitchen for us. We were ABSOLUTELY THRILLED with the result!

When I walked into the Sky Kitchens showroom in January 2012, I met Mohammed. I already had detailed drawings of the kitchen that I wanted. Mohammed impressed me from the get-go with his professionalism and attention to detail. Mohammed patiently listened and took detailed notes as I described all my requirements. He then described the different qualities and finishes and made many very valuable suggestions to enhance the look and functionality of the kitchen. He also gave me a tour of their manufacturing facility which I was very impressed with. After I agreed to go with Sky Kitchens, Mohammed met with me at length on numerous occasions at his office as well as at my home to discuss every detail to ensure accuracy of the kitchen design and the measurements. Mohammed accommodated me at every turn as I made numerous changes during the design phase. What impressed me further is that the price did not change, and the way Mohammed explained it, as long as it was not a significant material change he would not charge extra – “WOW – I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED”. Mohammed provided me with detailed drawings that reflected all my changes.

The crew that came to my house to install the kitchen were equally very professional, polite and respectful. Their work was of extremely high quality and their attention to detail was impressive. What I found remarkable was that the installation manager had the power to make changes upon request or recommendation (i.e. the installation manager offered to install a dummy door at no cost which enhanced the overall look of my kitchen). Also after they installed the vent hood (to our original specifications), we felt that it should be a little shorter. This also was no problem - they removed the hood, took it back to the shop and fixed it within a few days to our specifications and reinstalled it at no additional cost. (Power with working with the manufacturer directly).

In conclusion, I would recommend SKY Kitchens and Mohammed VERY HIGHLY. They made our DREAM KITCHEN a REALITY!

I contacted Sky Kitchens after speaking to someone at my work who is also getting their kitchen done by them. We worked with Binder who came by the house and looked at our kitchen and started drawing a new concept for the renovation. Once I went to the office to go over the plans I was amazed by what he came up with. He has amazing talent for design. Their prices are very good. From his contractor Raja who did all the demo and drywall etc, to his staff that came by and installed the whole kitchen, the whole process was smooth and quick. Binder himself came by a few times to help install and make sure everything was progressing as planned. We are very happy with the result and everyone that comes by loves it. I have recommended this company to everyone, co workers, neighbours etc. Binder also did our bathroom vanities which also turned out amazing. We are now working with Binder to do our family room and install custom cabinets for our fireplace. I know this will be another amazing project. I highly recommend Sky Kitchens! Thanks to everyone.
