Remington Group

Been living in the house for about a year now.Unfortunately some readers will dismiss these reviews and buy from Remington anyway....like I did and will be even fools than me.Good luck with that purchase!

The worst home builder I have ever dealt with. I have bought houses from other builders in the past and thought I was getting a good quality home from this builder but was totally wrong. I had a leaking roof that caused significant damages to the wood underlay and spoke with a customer care rep by the name Jean. She was rude and immediately concluded there was nothing they could do. Eventually, she said she would drive by within a week to take a look and get back but she never did. I have subsequently called her several time leaving messages but still no call back. Whenever you see Remmington homes, please go the other direction.

Remington wants to make a quick sale and be done, when you have any issues they avoid helping, they put people like Leslie to represent them in the customer service department. She is rude and ignorant. when you need help she yells over you and pushes you off to wait for weeks, and nothing. The worst builders out there!!! do not invest your money in anything they build. You will regret it, especially if Leslie is the voice of that company.

I have to totally agree with some of the other comments regarding Remington Group, everything is terrible - quality, service, communications - poor to no communication, they ignore requests for updates/status. Does not return calls.. I purchased condos from 3 other builders and they are the worst. I would never purchase from them again.

Purchased at IQ Condos built by them and I have to say that we love that stock product for Remington is usually an upgrade for another builder although the quality of the workmanship by Remington is HORRIBLE. We moved in and were very disappointed with the work done in our unit. Our entire suite flooring is scratched and marked with paint drippings and we did pay for the upgraded floors, we have crooked wall plates, holes in the walls, scratches on our cabinets, cracks along the windows and sliding door. The list can go on and on... From what I hear its not just our unit but everyone else in the building that is complaining about the same thing! They are selling Park Towers to be built behind our unit and Im not sure how they are going to sell out that building if people find out how terrible this builders workmanship truly is! For the price you pay you would expect to have a better finished product than this disaster! Been here for two months and still waiting for them to come back and fix all of the damages. Came in to fix the cracks along the windows twice now and they have cracked again! Came in to "fix" the cabinets that were misaligned and scratched and it doesn't look like they fixed a thing! Would not recommend this builder to anyone!

I bought from them in Georgetown and couldn't be happier with my home and the service. The selection for upgrades and the after sales service has exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them

Terrible builder, delay upon delay upon delay, they take your deposit and do not pay a single penny in interest. When they do deliver a year and a half later, ugly sloppy finishes all over the place it's unbelievable!

Absolutely ridiculous!
Poor customer service right after I signed on the dotted line. Once I committed to the home. Delay with the closing, even without following the buying agreement. They worded it so that they can get away from the legal obligation. We got a SHORT notice when we were suppose to get the house by Dec 2013, and changed to Feb 2014, and that notification came less than 45 days (half the timeline for notification they claimed to be).
The most outrageous thing was, when we had to be out of the country when they finally decided to close the house. We asked if we can get the house 1 week later, they said yes BUT with a big fat financial penalty we have to pay the builder. They were the one who did not notice us on time at the first place.
More ridiculously, the carpet we chose was out of stock and they notified us less than 1 month before closing. Wait and see how they are going to charge us for extra.
If you think of buying from them, think twice and final conclusion. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Probably far the worst builder I have come across. Service is horrible. Leslie after sales probably the most unpleasant women to deal with. No direct answers only get run the run around. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemies. No pride in work or service. Saving a buck is on top of the list with this company.

sale office are not friendly. they are easily mad to the purchaser. no any flexible changes. can not choose exterior package. require applying fee when you want to make any change. very restrict for enter in and look at the house, never give permission for it during whole years building process. All stuff are very tough except the design center. Closing date are delay without the reason. we have been suffering from out experience, and will never but anything from them again.
