Pro Stone

We really like out counters we got from Prostone. The stone design was exactly what we were looking for (Smokey Grey). The installers were friendly and knew what they were doing.

We had been referred to PorStone through our club Direct Buy. We were mildly happy with the whole process, how ever we had to chase them constantly to get the job completed! This was in 2015. Why am I doing a review only now? Well there after sale service is the worst I have ever felt with. We are trying to get there service guy out to fix a few spots on the counter surface that are rough to the touch. I have sent several emails, no response, I have to the office and filled out the required service request, 3 mths now no response , I have left several voice messages on the owners personnel voice mail and still no response! I have no idea how to deal with these guys! So beware of ever using Pro Stone. They have no respect for the customer, after they take your order!

Weshna was incredibly helpful from start to finish. We changed our mind a couple of times but she was always patient and helpful. The installers were also very prompt and professional. The quality of the countertops is excellent, and we are very happy with the end result. Would recommend without hesitation.

We love our new kitchen counter tops. All the Pro Stone team members were very professional and helpful. Weshna is the best! She is very knowledgeable and always ready and willing to help. When there was something she had to look into (ie. scheduling, design adjustments etc.) she was prompt with her responses, always providing me answers to all my questions/concerns within half a business day or sooner. The template person and installers were good and professional. They even came up to Parry Sound from Toronto during snowstorms just to make sure they got our project completed as per their promised timeline. My wife and I are very pleased with the product and level or service from Pro Stone.

As this is our very first time redoing a kitchen, we were rather nervous and unsure, but you and your talented staff (Louise and Bal) made us feel supported throughout the process. Although we dropped by numeous times and changed our minds at least once, we were made to feel this was expected and acceptable. As we were growing weary of take out food and not being able to find anything,

We were recommended to Prostone by a friend. We asked and were granted a fast turn around and installation date, which was most appreciated.

I was especially impressed by Louise, as we we had the most dealings with her, and I marveled at her consideration, good humor and efficiency, she demonstrates good customer service, something I respect and commend when I find it.

We visited ProStone at the end of 2015 and fell in love with a lovely slab of quartzite, which we paid a deposit to hold. They took our designer drawings & provided an estimate and told us they would hold 2 slabs, given the size of the job. We proceeded to design our entire kitchen around that slab - which is the centerpiece for our entire main floor.
In March, I called to check in and was reassured that our 2 slabs were held and that we should come in to map out the measurements/position when we were ready to proceed. When we came to the store (a month later), we were shocked to discover that most of our slab was gone (all but 1/3 sold to someone else).
We were told we could have a second slab (lesser in appearance to the original) plus the remainder 1/3, but that it would now require changing our plans by reducing our counter space and "matching" two pieces together with a seam.
Given that we designed our kitchen around this stone, we didn't feel we had any another option & no other stone they carried compared (in colour and style).
We were then charged $12/sq foot MORE than our original quote, which I had to request be corrected.
The install took several weeks longer than we were promised with no communication about when to expect delivery.
The seam (see photo) does not match even slightly and is obvious to anyone in our kitchen and is now hidden under a dish-drying mat. I was offered only $200 in compensation for all of this, and then when I called to have them repair a big crack, I was told they would not honour my warrantee until I removed the bad review I posted, based on my experiences.
I did remove the review, but am now putting it back up, because I have been trying to get them to come and repair the many "pits" in the natural stone for nearly FOUR MONTHS - no one will return my calls, voice mails or numerous emails, despite being told initially someone would come to repair it (4months ago). DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. Of note, I see no good reviews for the last 6months on any site, and wonder if others have had this same experience...

I had Pro Stone do the counter tops in the kitchen. I found out about Pro Stone through the Internet and I find that he does a pretty good job. I would day that I was a little unsatisfied with the time because it was delayed. But the work wise was pretty good.
