The project was the driveway, patio in the back, walkway, sidewalk and planter, total about 2000 sq. feet. I picked them because there was someone in the office to answer the phone instead of the answering machine. I took it as a good sign. God, was I wrong. During the initial stage I pointed out that the whole project had to be finished by the middle of September, 2013 due to my work schedule. They agreed, but later it became obvious that they didn’t even plan to deliver on time. During the construction I had some issues with the rebar placement. Another issue was that apparently there was no one from the office supervising the work and it took me several calls to the office to resolve some ongoing problems. The work was essentially finished, but during painting the planter walls they actually stained already finished concrete and planter natural stone. They actually tried to deny in the beginning that it was their fault, but at the end agreed to rectify the problem. Sometime in November they said that they had to stop because of the cold weather and return in the spring. After the winter some cracks appeared in the slabs due to the poor saw cutting pattern, and in some places the concrete surface appeared chipped and weathered. At the end of April, beginning of May, 2014 they contacted me to arrange the final remedial work to be done. I had to go away on business, but made clear that the work had to be finished by June 18, 2014 because I had to do some yard work. And because of my work schedule if I don’t do it now it might be postponed for another year. In the first week of June I sent them a reminder about the agreed dates and was assured that the work would happen in the week of June 9. I came back on June 16 and nothing was done. I don’t expect them to finish the work in the next couple of days. I think I have had enough with this company. The owner seems to be a good guy, and he always had a good explanation why the work was not delivered by a certain date. But at the end it all turned out a big bullshit. I can see that some people had a very positive experience with this company, unfortunately not me. My advice – look elsewhere. I thing I’d be looking for another contractor to do a remedial work.

I have been calling on Patterned Concrete to do my spraying and repairs of our driveway and patio for close to 20 years. They always do their best to get out to our home as early in the season as possible. The installation they did originally is timeless.

This company installed an approx. 200 sq. ft. patio for me in 1999 and it has been one of the best investments I ever made. The patio is still in great condition and has only a couple of very minor cracks. All I have had to do is seal it every two or three years

While work schedule is unfortunately affected by weather/rainy days, I am satisfied with the work provided by the company as it relates to advice on design, the level of workmanship and quality of materials that were put into my driveway. Most importantly, they always responded to my many telephone or email queries promptly and in porfessional manners.

They came out and did their work in a proffesional and timely manner. All the work was done to my satisfaction and then some. They were clean and efficient and the materials they used werew of the highest quality. I was very pleased with their work.

We had Patterned Concrete do our driveway in 2002 and I was reminded of the quality work and great people who worked with us - especially Giancarlo - when we went to the Supertest Road site to buy some more SprayAway ice melter a few weeks ago. The design was superb, the site management was professional and the crew worked quickly and did everything we asked. The driveway has stood up well and we have PC come very few years to clean and restore the surface so it always looks new. The only thing I would change if I were to do the job again would be to install heating tubes under the surface to keep it clear in the winter. Very happy. It was also nice to see Giancarlo again. He was a pleasure to work with.

Every person that visits asked me what stone we used on our pool patio. I love the look on their faces when I tell them it's concrete. Most ask me if I'm sure it's not stone. The antique application with the true grout really makes it authentic. Sometimes I even wonder myself....had I not been there to see your hard working crews doing the work I may not believe it.
