Mark came over at the end of August and the minute he walked on the property I knew I'd be satisfied with the work I wanted done. Our original driveway was done in the mid-70's and was all cracked with weeds growing thru it. It was at the point that I was mowing the lawn and the driveway. Anyways, Mark came over did his thing,and quoted me a great price. I have a neighbor who doesn't like downspout extensions so when it rains the rain drains onto our driveway and enters the garage foundation. My wife and I did what we could with bagged asphalt but when I showed this to Mark he added this problem area to the estimate and well, I accepted his estimate and ask him to do the work. Because of circumstances beyond Mark and my control the work was finally finished at the end of Sept. What a beautiful job! Everything is smooth, the rain water from the neighbors downspout runs down the driveway and doesn't collect, I couldn't have asked for a better job. I took Mark to a neighbor who is so happy with the work done at his house by Norton Paving that he still talks about how beautiful his driveway looks! Mark and his team did a great job replacing an existing flagstone patio with Brussels block (approx 350 sq ft). The work was completed over one week (1 day for the base, 1 day for the stone installation). Mark also went the extra mile and moved the flagstone into our garage for storage. Thanks again Mark!

A really big job and Nortown Paving was up for it. We were looking at redoing our driveway and about everything around the house to update the very old look. Mark from Nortown came to give me a quote the same day, was patient and offered great advice. He even drew a basic plan of the work for me. Mark’s crew generally stayed within the established deadlines, quickly fixed work that was not to our liking, did not cut corners, did not go over the budget and worked rather cleanly without breaking anything. Overall a great job and the first Contractor I did not have much to complain about – rare! Strongly recommend!

My experience dealing with Marc and his associates was a pleasure from booking an appointment for an estimate to the execution of the driveway replacement. Truly an exceptional group of people. Adding a soldier course during the driveway replacement made the finished product look outstanding. A 10 in my book.

My husband and I were expecting a baby early summer of this year, and knew I would be spending much of my maternity leave enjoying our backyard. We were eager to have comfortable outdoor living space available prior to our baby's arrival (more specifically, prior to our June 1st baby shower). We had reached out to Nortown Paving mid-March, met with Mark, and confirmed the project mid-April (after a last, two some vacation) without looking for additional quotes. We were impressed with the company's history, Mark's straight forwardness, and ability to work with us on short timelines and make our desired mid-May deadline. Needless to say, we are more than happy with the results, and look forward to working with Norton for our driveway and front porch renovations next spring.

Last year I had a client who required repaving of a driveway c/w an interlocking sidewalk and retaining wall. Sam Volante came out and gave a reasonable quote that the client accepted, along with a timeline. His crew arrived on schedule and the work was completed much to my clients' satisfaction.
Later in the year, I called Nortown to come and give me an estimate on a project at my own home. I met this time with Marc Volante who not only provided an estimate, but also made some very good material suggestions. We could not proceed with our walkway last fall, and I called Marc recently to schedule it for this summer. He remembered our meeting and came right out to make sure everything was the same as we had discussed.
We are now looking at the new walkway, and are very pleased with his suggestions that helped make a terrific looking entrance to our home. Our thanks to Marc and his crew.

Having a driveway and walkway done is not an every day event. You can’t just call someone who you have always had to do a quick repair on something. This is a huge, one-time investment so you have to be careful to choose your contractor wisely.

I chose Nortown Paving and I am glad I did. After learning of the company, the first thing I did was to check the Better Business Bureau (0 complaints – a good sign) and HomeStars (great reports – and no bad ones!). I also contacted a former client.

I then called for a quote. Marc came, answered all my questions and produced a reasonable and competitive price. After checking out other contractors in the same way, I kept coming back to Marc and signed the contract. I am glad I did.

- Marc is totally involved in the family business. In fact, he worked on
site for both the driveway and the stone walkway,
- Marc sticks to his word on timing,
- the crew was efficient, friendly and respectful of my property,
- Marc followed up on a minor problem and made sure it was
corrected.

Nortown did a terrific job of removing and replacing our front sidewalk and backyard patio. The job looks great. Marc was a real professional in managing the works. The crew turned up when scheduled and left the site in excellent shape. Some accidental damage was promptly repaired to better than original condition ! Highly recommended.
