Moveworks worked hard for my family, I would recommend them to anybody. Ours was a big stressful move, the movers were humorous and good-natured - they even carried the huge glass-top from our dining room table up six flights of apartment stairs, because it was just too big for the elevator. The dinning room table seats 10 people, I can't imagine how they did but they did.

Moveworks was on time and within budget. We are very happy with the move.

I hired Moveworks to move my father to a smaller home. The truck and movers showed upon time and were professional and courteous. They dealt well with my older father and his anxiety over the process. All in all, a job well done.

I found the movers to be very professional and punctual. Even though I needed the transition to be quick, I noticed that they were extremeley careful with my belongings. A great service all around.

Moveworks did a great job of packing and getting us to Ottawa. We were concerned that all our stuff would not fit into one truck, but did not want the expense of two. The team that packed that truck was brilliant! Everything went in and nothing was damaged, even though the truck travelled four hours and was not unpacked until we took posession of our new home the next day.

Moveworks did an amazing job with our move! The staff were extremely professional, very hard working and fast - the move couldn't have been simpler for us! The whole experience was easy right from the start. Moving can be a stressful experience - the packing, the coordination from the old place to the new place, it was comforting to know our stuff was in great hands. We'll definitely use Moveworks the next time we move and have already recommended them to friends and family.

Despite a brutally cold day in early March with 2 feet of snow on the ground, the Moveworks crew headed by Ray did a great job, they were fast and polite. They finished the job a little faster than had been estimated, and everything came through without a scratch. The wardrobe boxes were a big help, and I was a little worried about our hardwood floors, but they covered them and there was no problem. I would highly recommend Moveworks. Thanks.

WARNING: Do not hire Moveworks Inc. in spite of the favourable reviews you may see on this web page. While they appear to be nice people they do not honour their promises. I have been waiting almost a month for a return of my deposit. Although they have repeatedly promised to refund my deposit, I have not seen any money. They do not return phone calls. How reliable could they possibly be? Buyer beware!

Firstly, as computer literate I am I did not read the reviews first and I wish I had and I would of never hired MOVEWORKS.
The night before my move Anne phoned me to confirm that I was getting two trucks and four men as quoted. THe day of the move one truck and three men showed up. Ten minutes into meeting the movers the head guy threatened to leave. I spoke with Katie who was very nice and agreed to let them proceed. Anne showed up at my home at 2:00 pm to discuss the mishaps (short men and a truck) I was clear at that time that I was only paying the three men an hour fee.
At closing of bill time at midnight Anne phoned and said that although I was paying the three men fee she wanted me to pay four hours above the quote because that is how long it took. I told her that I had a contract that was broken repeatedly by her company, regardless I was sticking to contract and paying my ten hours (could of been less time) if the right amount of men were there. After a heated disagreement, she agreed. Anne immediatly phoned her movers cell and told them that the extra hours would be coming out of there pocket as I was not paying. THe head mover now again very made threatens to not finish and leave with me belongings. SHAME ON YOU ANNE. very unprofessional company to have there movers hassle you for money moveworks should be paying. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
