G.H.Johnson's Trading Co. Ltd.

When furniture shopping I seldom know exactly what I want, only that I'll know when I see it.
As a result I have been all over town and nearby areas searching for bedroom furniture. On a whim
my husband and I stopped in at GH Johnson's. Much to our surprise, the selection was excellent. The
store employees were very knowledgeable about everything from the differences in woods to matching accessories. The delivery was timely and professional. Great care was given to protecting our hardwood floors as well as placing our new furniture to our satisfaction. We thank everyone at the store for the best shopping experience.

Bought a sofa from G.H. Johnston. The leather ended up ripping to be big holes after about 8 months in various places of the sofa with regular use. Went in to talk to them and they told me they could help me. They went to there back office and didn't return. After asking what was going on, they kept saying that the guy would be right out. Left after an hour of waiting and tried calling at a later date. Kept being put on hold and then hung up on. Will never shop there again! Bad products and even worse customer service!

I was told about G.H. Johnson by a few people after mentioning that I was looking for furniture in Toronto. After getting a recommendation for this place from about 3 separate people, I decided that it might be worth checking out. When I went there I was really impressed by the size of the place and the selection - they have really unique pieces that you just aren't going to find anywhere else - and having been back a few times, I have noticed that their stuff changes frequently (so great if you aren't in a really big hurry to get something specific). I ended up buying a floor-to-ceiling mirror for my front hall - the price was pretty competitive (i.e., similar to other stores in Toronto), but the quality and look of it is much nicer than I saw anywhere else. I will continue to visit this store on a semi-regular basis, since I always like what I see and never know when something new might strike my eye.

Once again GH has proven why they have me as a life long and loyal customer . I had purchased some furniture in the summer ( and wrote a review here on HS ) and had noticed that some of the feathers in my couch and chaise started protruding . One phone call to Mark and he immediately , and I mean immediately sent someone over to take measurements and then re stuff and re line all the cushions . Problem solved . NO charge . Hassle free and friendly , thats exactly the GH Johnson style. One would expect no less from them .

My husband and I went to GH Johnson to find a bed and chairs and hit the jackpot here! We found exactly what we were looking for at a reasonable price. Service was great and there was ongoing communication from staff about our delivery date and time. Great first time experience!

I have made several purchases from this furniture store and each time I compare prices at other stores I can't believe the money I saved. Customer service was wonderful they delivered and set everything up. I will definitely refer friends to this store.

In such a large city as Toronto, it can be hard to find personal, friendly service - which is why I love shopping at Johnson's so much. I just recieved my second bedroom set I've ordered from there and I love it as much as I did the first one. Shopping there I've met and been helped by the actual owner of the business - and where can you go and say that anymore? They've got nice selection, smart sales people - it's a place I've been mentioning to my friends who are starting to buy their first houses, too.

I had an excellent shopping experience at GH Johnson. The atmosphere is great. The staff is friendly, they offer the best customer service, and delivery was a breeze. Don't miss out, the owners are fabulous to work with!

I buy all of my bedding at GH Johnson's, and find myself going back usually once a month to see what new stuff they have. They display all their sets on actual beds in the store so you can see how it will actually look out of the packaging, and the range of different gorgeous sets they have is great. I've even custom ordered things from the States that I've seen online. Love their stuff.

I was looking for a a dining room table and I am very grateful a store like this exists in Toronto. When I showed interest in a table that was the style I wanted but not the right size, the owner of the store took me to their storage space. We found one that was perfect and they gave me a good deal as well. Thank you GH Johnson.
