We decided to improve the closets and storage solutions in a number of areas of our home (bedroom closets, front hall closet, laundry room and pantry).  After obtaining quotes and advice from three different companies, choosing Kwik Kloset (and Tom in particular) was an easy decision for us. 
 
Why we chose Kwik Kloset?
·         Tom spent over 3 hours with us on the initial visit designing the various closets/rooms and offering suggestions.
·         His designs and ideas were creative and practical.  He also took into consideration our feedback, needs and ideas.
·         Quality of materials offered were superior to others.
·         Tom himself would be in charge of the installation team (and taking an active role), unlike other companies who split up responsibilities between design and install.
·         After the initial visit, Tom responded to our questions in a very timely and informative manner.
·         Once we agreed to use Kwik Kloset, we continued to “tweak” the designs over a few weeks.
·         Tom continually provided refreshed drawings and ideas before we finalized the design.
 
Installation Experience
·         Very positive – Tom and his crew arrived on time and on the dates agreed.
·         His crew worked in our garage cutting all the materials to avoid getting the house messy.
·         Entire crew was very respectful to our home and took great care during the installation.
·         No hiccups or surprises during installation – everything turned out as per the designs.
 
 
Kwik Kloset was not the cheapest alternative, however they are competitive on price.  We were not looking for the cheapest alternative, but wanted a company who we had utmost confidence in, used quality materials and offered excellent workmanship.  We have pretty high standards when it comes to home improvement and Tom and Kwik Kloset certainly exceeded our expectations.
 

We got 3 quotes to have a custom closet done. Kwik Closet was right in the middle and we decided to go with them. We were disappointed with the service as they had to come to our house between 3-5 times to fix up mistakes. When they first installed, one drawer did not have the right bracket to close so it was a bit askew and one side closet covered the light switch which we did not agree to and did not like. When coming back they made some fixes but had to come back again to finish other things. At one point they made a small hole in the ceiling that was not patched up properly and we actually had to pay to have someone fix it. The closets came out nice but the service was not great.

We were going to have 3 companies in to give quotes on our closets. Lucky for us Tom came and we cancelled the other companies. I told him what we required and he organized everything .
I wasn't quite sure of how things would turn out ,but when everything was installed we knew that we had picked the right company. We have loads of space and everything looks superb.

We met Stu at the Calgary Home Show. He was enthusiastic about our project and listened carefully to our goals for the space. He asked questions to assure the design "fit" us in all ways (our height, do we fold our pants on a hanger, how many suits, how many dresses, our budget, design style, space measurements, etc). He double checked everything and came to our site several times to assure everything was perfect. We did a full house renovation and he was our favorite contractor. Friendly, skilled, flexible, clean, excellent communication skills, and unparalleled follow-up.

I needed to maximize my closet space in a small apartment. I met the friendly folks at a home show, and they came to give me a quote. The price was reasonable, and they helped design something absolutely perfect for the space. The installation was convenient and quick. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

We needed to make better use of our closet space- 2 reach ins and a small walk in. Sean came out to have a look and provided some great advice as well as some ideas to help us go even further with the use of our space. Sean even suggested a way that we could change from a standard swinging door to a pocket style door but exterior to the closet to get even more room- something I did not even think of! Sean took us through many options on the computer and we were able to land on a configuration that gave us almost twice as much space as our original closets. All the materials were available on time as promised and the installation went very well. We're very happy with the end result and I'm glad we called Kwik Kloset- the cost was reasonable when you consider the quality of the design and the quality of the materials we ended up with. Sean was great - he really worked with us to understand what we wanted to achieve, asked us the right questions, and ended up recommending a configuration that exceeded our expectations. We were very excited to have Kwik Kloset come provide a quote on our custom closet. Deborah & Joe provided awesome customer service, which goes a long way when you're pricing something this expensive! Everything went so well with the closet that we immediately hired them for a wall bed/custom shelving as well! We would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for these type of services! We were extremely happy with the products and the quality - loved the end result!

Tom came over within two days of my enquiry and provided on site with a plan and quote for all five of my closet needs. After I gave him the contract he had the closets installed in ONE WEEK! it honestly blew my mind….We are more than happy with our closets - the walk ins, the kids closets…we have used other brand names before but never again. Kwik Klosets and Tom are amazing!

If only the first sentence of this review is read, then I'd like to say that if I had to do my closets over again I would go with Tom and Kwik Kloset again without hesitation.

Even before I decided on which of the 3 companies I was going to have complete my closets, Tom provided a lot of sound advice. After I decided to go with Tom and Kwik Kloset I made several changes to the original designs and each time Tom quickly updated and sent back the designs.

I was not at home for most of the installation, my mom and her cousin were here and said Tom and his crew were on time, worked hard and friendly.

Although I am thrilled with the end results and am very happy everyday when I go into my walk-in closet, it was what happened after installation day that I want to share with anybody considering re-doing their closets.

The installation was complete except there was a problem with a bottom drawer and the tracks. Tom even worked on it himself for quite some time, unfortunately to no avail, but it was getting late and it had been a long day for everybody, including myself, so he said he would come back and fix it and when Tom asked if I had the cheque (no downpayment is required) I handed it over.

Only after a few days did I think to myself was that the wisest thing to do as we hear so many stories on the news and online of jobs not being completed after the company is paid. But it was only one drawer and since the reviews I read on homestars were so good, I believed I was dealing with a good honest person and company.

Well about a week a half later not only was my drawer fixed but Tom did not send one of his crew, but came himself to ensure the job was done.
