Hoerner Heating & Plumbing

I made an appointment for a boiler inspection and cleaning. Claire and Rafiq arrived near the start of the appointment window, did a methodical and thorough job, answered all of my questions, and were unfailingly professional and polite. I also did not get any sense that they were trying to upsell me or convince me to do things that I didn't need to do. In addition, the person whom I called to make the appointment (Robin) was friendly and helpful. I would happily use this company again and refer them to others.

The service I received was really wonderful and professional - no complaints whatsoever about the two technicians who came. So on that front I would have liked to give a high rating for the service.

HOWEVER, it seemed a bit excessive to send (and charge me the time for) two technicians, for what I had described on the phone as a slow draining/clogged kitchen sink issue. This really wasn't a two-person job. Only one technician was working at a time. I have also yet to receive a copy of my invoice, which I was told would be emailed to me automatically. A $400 bill for cleaning out a grease-clogged kitchen drain seems excessive.

With spring finally arriving, it was time to turn on the outdoor taps. I discovered the one in the backyard had a hole in it. Pleasant experience making the appointment. Also, the technician was prompt, analyzed the situation and quickly fixed the problem.

We have used Hoerner Plumbing for problems big and small since we moved to Toronto 2 years ago. They are consistently quick to respond, excellent in service, and highly professional, helpful and friendly. I just had them come out today for what appeared to be a major leak from our bathroom. They quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem without major disruptions and asked me to contact them immediately if the problem wasn't fixed. I can't recommend them highly enough and am grateful that they're around!

A problem with my water heater had increased my natural gas usage. Called Hoerner. John K arrived on time as scheduled. He asked the right questions, explained the process and quickly diagnosed and fixed my problem. Great Service and expertise. I would highly recommend Hoerner and John K.

Went above and beyond. Helped to coordinate with other tenants so that there would be the least amount of disruption. Extremely professional, fast, clean and clear in their communication. Able to work with an old Toronto building. Highly recommend!!

Hoerner dispatched Martin and Max who arrived immediately after our emergency call; sewage was rising above the drain in basement. After determining the pump motor had seized, Martin and Max proceeded to manually empty the full sewage tank to be able to replace the motor. (Disgusting to say the least, yet they proceeded with humour and an incredible sense of professionalism.) Hoerner dispatched another plumber to source a new pump and it was deliverd and installed in the same day! Everyone determined that a high water alarm should be installed, probably should have already been installed, but wasn't, to prevent another occurance. Hoerner sourced this system and Martin returned within two days and installed. Can't say enough about how incredible Hoerner was in their immediate response, how pleasant Martin and Max were and that Hoerner followed up so quickly in not only their immediate response but in following up with the high water alarm.

Martin and Max spent good time throughly working on it. Removed large chunks of roots and applied RootX. They were polite and professional. I would recommend Hoerner as trusted company.
