I have used Fine Finishes Design Inc. for several design projects in my home & have always had a great experience, with the results exceeding my expectations. Therefore, recently, when I was considering replacing my front door & windows, my first step was to call Andrea at Fine Finishes & get her involved in the project. I was confident that her knowledge, design expertise & attention to detail, would be invaluable. Once again, she did not disappoint. We used Andrea of Fine Finishes as part of our renovation team when redesigning our kitchen/family room area. Andrea's professionalism, her knowledge of design, colours and referrals to suppliers for furniture and décor items was amazing. My experience with Fine Finishes Design Inc. has been nothing short of excellent. I have used Andrea's services before, around 5 years ago, to choose paint colours and I was very happy with what she recommended for my children's rooms back then. I did not hesistate to call her again as we just purchased a new house and I wanted to change the paint colours. Andrea comes ultra-prepared with her suitcase on wheels filled with paint colour swatches, and she is so organized! She gives you paint samples right then and there on a page with the colour names on it, so it's easy to keep track of everything in the folder she gives you. She recommended colours with certain undertones and steered me away from others, depending on the light in the room, colour of the flooring, furniture, etc. She also helped me choose lighting and I am so glad I had her help; I avoided mistakes that would have been very costly! Andrea's choices were very wise and her expertise was evident in all the amazing advice that she gave. We ran out of time at the house for our buyer's visit and she met me afterwards at a coffee shop to continue the meeting to ensure we covered everything. She was prompt in returning calls, punctual, very professional, and so pleasant and easy to get along with! I am very grateful for her help and will be calling her again after we move to have her assist me in placing art work, etc. in our new home. I won't hesitate to call her again in future for any design advice I may need.

I contacted Andrea of Fine Finishes Design Inc. for assistance with some furniture and decorating upgrades for our living room as well as some decor recommendations and planning for the dining room, front hall and master bedroom.

Her initial consult and site inspection of our home was comprehensive and quite complete. She dedicated a total of four hours plus travel for the process - a commitment of time that was greatly appreciated.

Andrea initiated a discussion of our budget from the beginning of the consult and as the site inspection continued, made excellent suggestions for improving several rooms in the house - all of which were practical and within our budget.

I found that Andrea has a great ability to connect with her clients and to quickly develop an excellent rapport with them. Her knowledge, experience, and network backup of proven, reliable trades professionals is another asset to her design operation that I personally appreciated.

Unfortunately, our work together abruptly ended with the complication of my illness and we were not able to progress further with the project.

This summer, we renovated the main floor of our home. I definitely could not have done this without Andrea's help. She is professional and responds immediately to any questions, comments or concerns. Andrea and Nelson (the project manager), were always honest, reliable, hard-working and a pleasure to deal with. Every promise they made was kept, and we were amazed at their attention to every single detail. I cannot say enough good things about them. We are so pleased with how everything turned it. The final product exceeded our expectations - for example, the wainscotting was not done in a typical way - it actually looks like a piece of art, and guests are amazed at the workmanship. We will definitely use their services when we are ready to do some renovations upstairs. Thanks again to Andrea and her team! I've never been so excited to cook and clean my kitchen!

We came upon Fine Finishes by referral, and after meeting with a couple of other designers, decided to proceed with a condo renovation that we had Andrea design and manage. Andrea's aesthetic, eye for detail, and pragmatic approach was evident in that first meeting, where she quickly identified things we could do to bring in more light, make rooms feel more spacious and flow better, while asking lots of questions to uncover what things were most important to us. Core to our project was a new kitchen and replacement of the original hardwood floor throughout the condo, with all the associated electrical, plumbing, plastering and paining that goes with that, and a few other minor upgrades in the rest of the unit. We love the layout and look of our new kitchen. With her design, Andrea opened up our tiny galley kitchen, giving us more storage and work areas, without making any structural changes. She also made paint selection a breeze, which is something I've always struggled with and we love the result in every room. Relying on the contractors and skilled trades recommended by Andrea and managed by Nelson was an important part of the success of this work, as all were highly skilled, reliable, dedicated and could be depended on to deal with anything that arose (our building dates back to the 1930's so renovations always have some unforeseen challenges). We are immensely pleased with the design, quality and workmanship of the skilled trades employed, and our relationship with everyone involved.

Andrea was amazing and outstanding! She started the project before the renovation and helped us to decide almost everything, space changing, kitchen cabinetry/countertop, tiles, floor, paining, furniture and its placement, doors, handles.... She cares about everything no matter how tiny it is. She is professional, easy to reach, good at communication and very patient.
What's more impressive is that she designed the our home which suits us the best! She even thought about the hanger rack for our two kids!
Now we've been living at our new home for 3 weeks, our kids are happy with cleaning up their stuff because it's easy for them to do. Meanwhile, we realize that everything we think is beautiful, useful and reasonable is suggested by Andrea!
We are so lucky to meet her and appreciate her for all the useful advises which make our home cozy, gorgeous and functional.

We engaged Fine Finishes to handle all aspects of our kitchen renovation with the exception of the cabinetry. The project finished on time and on budget. In particular, their project management went very smoothly. The few "wrinkles" that arose were handled promptly and well. We would gladly recommend them to others, and we will be using them for future projects.
