Elite Concrete

My husband and I were very pleased with the work from Elite which we wrote in another review. Earlier this year we received a call from Rafi letting us know that he had come by our home to see if our walkway faired the winter. Although it still looked really good, Rafi had his crew come out and seal it again. This was such a nice surprise. It's nice to know there are still contractors out there that provide after sales service. Even though we would have recommended Elite before, there is even more reason now.

We have great pleasure in recommending the services of Elite Designed Concrete and have had two projects done by them in the last two years. The first was a large stamped concrete patio in our back garden, we were so pleased with it that we called them back the following year to do a similar project in the front. They are very professional and do an excellent job with minimum disturbance. Raffy is very businesslike and competent, when we noticed a slight problem caused by the severe winter and emailed him one evening this spring he had men here the next morning to deal with it. Elite is a good name for this company, they are totally reliable and do excellent work.

Everytime my father-in-law visits, he wants to go outside and sit on the rear patio, he calls "the world's best patio." And this is from a man who has his own marble shop!
Raffy worked with the family to create a unique set of patios at the front entrance and backdoor of the house to match our price and construction time. Pricing was the best of the 3 companies interviewed and did not include a minimum square footage for the job. Both patios were designed to maximize space around our gardens; match our house colouring; and capture the sunlight around the house. Colour choices and patterns were plentiful. The company came at stated times throughout the process; stayed on the property until the day's work was done; and cleaned up very thoroughly. Raffy checked in during each step of the process and was involved in the sealing process. Raffy returned all calls promptly and explained the process very clearly. The finished product was much nicer than expected; eliminated drainage problems around the front stairs; and made winter shovelling a breeze. Our guests were very impressed with the finished product as we took great pride in entertaining during the summer and into the fall. The patios weathered beautifully over the winter. Raffy returned early in the Spring to do the follow-up warranty check. It looks just great! And now we are back to living outside again!

Both Raffy and Marcelo were fantastic to deal with. They are definitely experts in their field and provide exceptional customer service. Their crews were always courteous and accomodating. Raffy took his time to make sure that we understood what the end result would look like so that we would not be disappointed since we were not overly knowledgable about stamped concrete. We are very happy with how everything looks and would be pleased to refer Elite to anyone who is looking to get this type of work done.

He and his crew restored our trust. Not only did his crew do an excellent job but they treated us with respect. They kept in constant contact with us and advised us of each step. They were polite and prompt. They came and did the job when they said they would. They worked consistently, were polite to the neighbours and cleaned up every day.

They are honest and take real pride in their work. We are very, very pleased with the results and have gotten lots of compliments from our neighbours.

I recommend them highly and wish we had contracted with Elite Designed Concrete from the outset.

We signed up with another contractor who commenced work and didn't turn-up for two months. The sub-contractor took the money and left. Subsequently we called Elite, among various others, and got a quote. When Raffy came to measure and give a quote, his professionalism made us choose him instead. His team came as an angel to the site which was left in a state of mess, thereby prompting the neighbors to question us. Our past experience made us feel a little skeptical, but I have to say that Raffy & Marcelo demonstrated extreme professionalism, good ethics and creativity. So did their team who made us feel wow! They were well disciplined and trained. This is very rare in today's contractors' world. They did a marvelous (is not the word) job. Today, they made us feel that it is to our benefit that the earlier contract soured, because ELITE CREATED DESIGN AND CHARACTER TO OUR PATIO AND WALKWAY. If not, we would have got stuck with just a blank square concrete stage and not a patio in our back-yard. We vouch for Elite Design Concrete as we have tasted (not just obtained a quote) two extreme different contractors who advertise the same product.

When we initially started to look for a suitable contractor for this project, we were unfamiliar with what to look for. If someone asks me for one word to describe Elite Designed Concrete – WOW!
It has taken me longer then anticipated to describe how happy we are by the work they completed for us this spring. In today’s marketplace it is extremely reassuring that a company like Elite exists.
Their soft natured approach during the estimation phase, timely starts in the morning and excellent on-site staff was nothing short of refreshing. As owners of a new home, with frequent interaction to various contractors; we have been disappointed more then once by other contractor’s quality of work and professionalism.
