We first heard about Elite concrete while strolling through our family’s Thornhill neighborhood. As we were walking we came upon a beautiful driveway with a beautiful driveway, porch, garden planters and garden walls. We were so impressed by the look that we had to ask the homeowners who had done the job for them. The homeowners were great and told us that it was Elite Designed Concrete that had done all the work for them. They mentioned how professional the crew was, and how great the service was. They had no complaints and recommended them to us and also commented on the fact that they would probably have them come back in the summer of 2012 to do some more work. We decided to give them a call for a quote to see how they would compare with the rest of the quotes that we had gotten. Raffy, one of the company’s owners came out promptly to provide us with a quote. He was on time and very professional. He had set up a kit for us outlining information about the company and also providing us with a lengthy list of all the projects they had done so far. He took some measurements and answered all of our questions and concerns and provided us with a quote. He mentioned to us that we could go and speak to all the homeowners for whom they had done work for if we wanted and at the same time we can have a look at their job and perhaps even get ideas as to what we wanted our driveway, porch, and walkway to look like. We decided to do just that! All the homeowners were a great help, they all had nothing but great things to say. The common theme among them was that Elite was very professional and very efficient at what they do. To our surprise, a few of the homeowners we spoke to, had to make warranty calls, and of these homeowners, they to praised the way Elite handled the warranty calls. Elite fixed their issues quickly at no extra charge and it didn’t take more then one phone call. After careful consideration we decided to go with Elite Designed Concrete! Their price quote was competitive with all the other quotes that we had gotten, however, their quality customer service and workmanship, was the best that we had seen and heard of when comparing with some of the other contractors. It wasn’t Long before Marcelo Manfrini one of the other owners came by to discuss our design, choice of colours, and our landscaping. He was very patient with us as we had a lot of questions, so much so that we felt bad for him. However, he helped us come up with a great design and we are very pleased with the way things turned out. Leo and the construction crew, did an excellent job preparing the forms and the foundation for all the concrete work, they were very quick, and efficient, and they addressed any questions or concerns that we had, most importantly they cleaned up each and everyday and they went above and beyond their scope of work even doing things that were not on the contract. Our neighbors even commented on the speed at which they were doing their job, they truly were a great bunch. We also appreciated Andre’s help with the landscaping, he provided us with ideas and plans from which we were able to create what we feel is a beautifully landscaped front and backyard. Elite designed concrete really left a great impression on us, attesting to the fact that there are great contractors out there and you don’t have to a pay the piper for them. Our advice……Go with Elite for any concrete work that you need done.

In spring, we were looking for a contractor to do stamped concrete in our backyard, walkway, front porch and drive way. After receiving quotes and consultation from various companies, we decided to go with Elite Designed Concrete Inc based on the reviews on the internet. The excellent finished product does give an exquisite effect with the addition of low-maintenance plant and a couple of trees. Elite has completed its job with my full satisfaction and I would not hesitate to make any recommendation.

I was a skeptic when I read all the rave reviews on HomeStar for Elite. I thought to myself, are these reviews for real? I don't believe any contractor would get such reviews especially when we've heard of horror stories from friends and neighbours of their bad experiences with contractors. My husband convinced me to call them and check them out. Boy am I glad I listened to him -- it was an exceptional experience we had and it was a pleasure working with them.

We had contacted Elite around midnight via email and the next morning we received a call from Raffy, scheduled a meeting right away to go over our plans. Measurements and an estimate was given right away. There was no pressure from them. After Raffy gave us an estimate and some referrals, he left us to do our research and when we were ready, we contacted them. While we did our research, checked out their reference, we decided to call other contractors to get some price comparison (even though we had already decided to use Elite), other contractors didn't even bother returning our calls.

We awarded the project to Elite and the project was set to begin by end of July. However, there was so much rain, we received a letter from Elite apologizing for the delay due to bad weather that they are behind schedule. This reassured us that they didn't walk away with our deposit and put us at ease that we can trust them and that they haven't forgotten about us. When the weather improved and they were caught up with their jobs, Marcello came by to talk to us about our plans. He told us straight out what's good and what wasn't and asked very relevant questions. He started to draw outlines of our plan for us to visualize what it would look like and scale of our design from paper to actual size. A couple of days later, they excavated, formed and poured cement. While they were working on our property, they covered and protected our neighbour's side of the house -- not a spec of cement even dripped on our neighbour's interlock walkway and they always left the site nice and tidy. There was a separate team for each part of the job, and they were all polite and courteous. They even fixed up some ugliness left over from our builder without asking for a penny!!!!

When the cement was ready to cut (we chose to do the limestone finish), we couldn't come up with a design/pattern, Marcello came up with a great cut design, we love it and everyone in the neighbourhood loves it.

Final step is for Raffy to come for a final inspection and seal. I must say, the limestone finish is a great look and is not slippery, even my neighbours noticed when they dropped by to see the work -- they were all very impressed and they've not seen anything like it before.

Job well done Elite. It was a pleasure working with you and thank you all for being so accommodating. I would highly recommend Elite to any one as a matter of fact, we've recommended them to a few of our friends who are looking into getting cement work done for their driveways.
