A little slow to respond to emails initially, but I'm lucky they responded with a detailed quote the morning I had another reputable company (who recently upgraded our entire home) scheduled..

They didn't charge me for the time it took to get me a quote, which is an honest way of not sinking me into using them after an initial consult, and their quote was much lower than their competition.

I have to add, that they fixed an error they noticed (from the same competitor) in my panel at no extra charge.

Tyler and Anthony were the guys that did the work and I'd say Tyler was the right amount of professional and regular guy you'd have a beer with.

When they were finished, I noticed they installed a 2 outlet plug instead of a 4 outlet plug, but that probably had something to do with the fact that I never told them I wanted 4 outlets. I asked them how long and how much it would take to redo my mistake and they said no problem, stayed another hour, and I wasn't even charged more.

WIthout these guys I honestly wouldn't even know that I was so ripped off by the competition. I'm keeping this contact and will reach out to them immediately if I need anything.

The Hotwire Team was amazing to work with from start to finish. They were at our home within 48 hours of our initial call requesting potlights on the exterior of our home. Hotwire was recommended to me by a friend and I couldn't have been happier with their installation and the final product; my expectations were far exceeded.

Tyler, Alex, and Mike were extremely professional and cleaned up thoroughly once the work was completed (1/2 a day - WOW!). I was extremely impressed by the teams care for detail, especially since I'm a perfectionist); the original quote had contemplated an extra light however Mike shared that the light would be too overpowering. We're so happy Mike took the time to share his professional opinion with us especially before proceeding with completing the work; Hotwire cares about final product just as much as their customers do!

Our house looks absolutely stunning at night; we've even had a couple ring our doorbell asking who we used. Thank you Hotwire! We definitely know who to call when we need to finish our basement.

I want to give kudos and two thumbs up to hotwire electric for the outstanding work they’ve done on our place. Hotwire completely transformed our first floor living room, foyer and den with beautiful potlights and ambient lighting and even added some smart home features so we can control the lights from mobile devices or a control panel. You can see from the get go how these guys know a thing or two about lighting and that they have lots of experience. Job well done and two thumbs up to Hotwire!!

We hired Hotwire to perform an electrical panel upgrade, as well as other minor fixes around the house such as installing GFCI outlets, splitting bathroom light and fan switches, and taking power outlets off of light switches. Tyler and his co-workers arrived promptly, worked quickly and efficiently, and were very helpful in answering questions and seeking input from us where necessary. Additionally the office staff/operations desk were very helpful in setting up the process with Hydro and explaining the invoice.

Hotwire were great from the start, from responding to my inquiry, setting an appointment and having electricians sent out. Justice and his co-worker Nick came in October to install 2 sets of dimmers in my home. They arrived on time, were friendly and professional and completed everything in a quick, efficient manner and left everything in perfect condition. They explained the operation and also provided useful tips in case I needed something in the future. Excellent company ambassadors to have in your company, thank you for all your help.

Electrician Tyler and co-worker Nick arrived early on promised date of installation. I found them not only knowledgeable and professional but also courteous and efficient. They completed an excellent job on time of their projection. My wife and I were extremely pleased and highly recommend their services and Hotwire electric.

We wanted garage/kitchen/laundry room sockets changed to something safer and shop lights installed / wiring capped. The wiring was a mess - 1970's do-it-yourself. The estimate was worked out same day and the work was done promptly. The office and Jeremy the electrician are professional and knowledgeable. The work and service is excellent!
