Electrical Panel Replacement

I got an estimate from all of the top rated electricians on HomeStars.com which service homes in Etobicoke, ON. Hotwire Electric provided the best experience by far when obtaining an estimate. One of their top competitors wanted me to have Toronto Hydro inspect the location of the outside meter *before* they would perform a simple inside panel change. Not only did Hotwire not require this, but they were able to do the job in a single day and complete it before 6pm. They were also willing to pay me for a previously purchased replacement electrical panel, because they felt their panel was better for the job, and thus reduced my cost. In addition they also provided an extra 220V/15A breaker at my request. The only minor gripe I had was their usage of our small house vacuum to clean up the mess after the job. To be fair some contractors don't clean up after themselves at all, so Hotwire Electric is definitely ahead of the curve. But it would have been nice if they'd have brought their own industrial vacuum cleaner for this purpose. Overall I'd say they did a good job replacing the electrical panel for the house and I'd recommend them for sure.

We found Hotwire on Homestars and based on the reviews decided they were best suited for the job. It was nice to get a response back quickly, as some of those highly rated on Homestars don't bother to return calls at all. Hanna was amazing and accommodating as some our our requirements changed during the estimate phase. She quickly re-quoted and got us booked in immediately. The team that arrived were efficient, quick and clean. I will definitely be calling on Hotwire again shortly to get my pot lights installed!

We found HotWire on homestars, and were impressed by their glowing reviews. It was very easy to request a quote via email, and Hanna got back to us almost immediately. We were able to book the technicians to come out to our house within a few days of first contacting the company. They arrived on time and did a great job- efficient and tidy. Everything was exactly as expected- no surprises, and they were very good about touching base with us about our expectations to make sure the job was done as we wanted it. We will definitely use them for any future electrical work.

I contacted HotWire Electric after reviewing the Home Stars website and reading many reviews.
I communicated with Hanna by phone and email to clarify what I wanted/needed and to firm up the estimate. I appreciated the opportunity to communicate by email.
From start to finish my experience was excellent and very easy.
The electricians who came to my home were on time, friendly and willing to answer all of my questions. They finished the job earlier in the day than I expected and cleaned everything up. I received an unexpected suprise when I arrived home as the guys also swapped out a mismatched plug receptacle in my kitchen without me asking for it.

Should I need the services of an electrician in the future I will most definatley contact HotWire again - no need to look further to find a quality and trusted electricial service. I would have no hesitation in referring them to others.

Had over 30 potlights and various electrical outlets /w undercounter rough-ins. Guys showed up early and worked diligently through the two days. Even did a few extras going beyond the call of duty. Placement of
the lights were perfect. Very pleased and everything looks great! Thanks again.

We hired Oris and Co to look after our two home project from start to finish. At every stage of the process, they handled everything very professionally and on time. They were there when they said they will and that to me is tough to do in the construction business.
