I had the team come to my house and install 10 potlights. They did a fabulous job and were on time and courteous. I was unsure exactly where I wanted them to be located but they took the time to show me the options.

Have a home thats a triplex, needed the 3 meterbases combined into one. Hotwire’s price was good and we went ahead. I am very pleased with the work they did and now my triplex is a single metering. Very glad I made the Hotwire Choice.

Various Potlights

I am probably one of the hardest customers to please as I expect the very best in craftsmanship and quality at a "fair" price. It took me about 3 mo to find the perfect electrical contractor and after many failed attempts, Hotwire easily made the top pick.

Other competing Electrical companies here on Homestars with a "10" rating were EXTREMELY difficult to reach. Voicemails would never go to a real person and would get answered late the next day. Same with emails. On top of that those "Other" companies wanted a cash deal. Who knows if those other ratings are even real!

Now comes Hotwire... I can say Hotwire easily came out ahead!! Their price was fair, they were responsive on any queries, and actually cared to make recommendations or put out any concerns in the project. They were able to supply specific potlights I had requested. Oris was an honest and hard working gentlemen and genuinely listened to my concerns. He was very meticulous and ensured not to damage my expensive floors!

Overall, a rare and fabulous company. Will not hesitate to do business again. Highly recommended from a discerning consumer!!

Replacement of light switches and fixture hook up

The response and service provided by HotWire was very good. We didn't have complicated needs but a written quote arrived within a day of enquiry and the invoice matched it, in the end. An electrician came within a couple of days (it wasn't urgent) and he was very friendly and polite. We don't know much about electrical things but want to understand what's behind our walls and ceiling. He explained things as he went, which we really appreciated.

I'd definitely recommend this company and use them again.

I would definitely call Hotwire again, and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. I am very pleased with the job they did. I had faulty potlights throughout my home, and I contacted Hotwire by email giving them complete details of the problem, and they came back to me with a quote within an hour. I am very happy with the work they did, their response time, the price and their overall efficiency.

Panel Upgrade 100A to 200A + AC wiring

This was my second time using Oris and his team and they exceeded my expectations again. The friendly team are always on site early, do great professional tidy work and clean up the site afterwards.
Oris managed to deal with the unexpected issues of an old house and showed off his masonary skills - nice work!
I always find them quick to respond to e-mails and the quote for the work was very competitive. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

When my builder wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for potlights and home automation, I contacted Hotwire. I know they did good work but they saved me about 80% off on a builders price
We did heated flooring, led potlights inside and outside and wired my home for home automation.
It was done clean and quick and with precision.
I wouldnt recommend anyone else but these guys. they are fantastic to deal with and their service can not be beat.
period!!!!
I love my new home now and at a fraction of the builder'sprice

Panel Upgrade 60A-100A

Took pretty much a full day to install. There was a bit of a dispute on overages but they took care of it by agreeing to the initial price. Overall it was a good experience. Would hire them again for future projects.

The dispute on overages was not how much the overages cost. It was that they were not presented to me before actually starting the work. Moving the panel was said to be "not a problem". Not, "not a problem, it will just be an additional...". I don't mind paying for overages but I like to agree to additional costs BEFORE the work is done. Again, I appreciate that the original price was honoured as that was the price I agreed to.

Company Response: Hello James, Thank you kindly for your review. We are glad you are pleased with our work. Panel changes are always a full day of work, and we also advise our clients 8am to 4pm. We actually finished it earlier but needless to say our guys went above and beyond for you. When you asked to change the scope of the work and requested to have the panel relocated, certainly a panel relocation and a stright panel change was not the same price. We gave you a very fair option to do the relocation for an additional 150 dollars, you didnt like that choice so we proceeded to do as was set out on the original scope.
