Kitchen renovation

I've been aware of Copacetic's business attitude and creative approach towards a number of projects over the years and decided it was appropriate to add some comments regarding my own experience with this company. First of all, I was impressed with Copacetic's approach to a kitchen reno I had in mind. When I met with Ian and Louis, they patiently answered my questions about the project and made creative suggestions regarding issues that came up during our conversation. I was made to feel that my ideas were respected, yet they were quick to point out areas that required adjustments to the design and offered useful alternatives. Once the plans were approved, I felt confident that we had covered all the important aspects of the project from design, to choices of materials, time frame and cost. The Copacetic team met my expectations and more. When the actual work was completed, they made sure that the pieces were installed correctly and beautifully. They followed up both on their own initiative and were available to answer any questions I had. Now, I love my kitchen; it's convenient and stylish and full of memories of a job well done.

Thank you Ian, Louis, Dennis, Gerry, Danny, Jeremy and Ben.

bathroom x 2 renovation

we moved into a new condo and both bathrooms needed a makeover as they were industrial looking and had obsolutely no storage. Copa came up with designs that allowed both functionality, class and tons of storage. Quick and clean installation. This is the second project the gents have completed for us. If you need any type of cabinetry and need ideas and creativity ... look no further ... thanks so much gents our condo is now complete and the money spent has increased the value of our condo big time.

kitchen renovation

We moved into a new condo and the kitchen was simply too small for one so we had Copacetic have a peak. They presented three ideas. All amazing but they convinced us to go with one design that we had hesitations about but let me tell you these guys see it before it is done. The value of our property has increased THERE IS NO DOUBT ... the kitchen, entertaining area is one of a kind. Look forward to using the gents again. PS Installation was seamless and superfast. If you want top quality, creative work look no further.

Custom office workstation

We hired Copacetic to build a custom office workstation for a tiny recessed work area that could not fit a traditional desk or even anything bigger than a typewriter table. Our goal was to maximize the desktop work space area. Copacetic came up with a simple but elegant soluton and we are very happy with the end result. The installation was quick and professional.

New Kitchen

Ian, Louis, Dennis, Gerry, Danny, Jeremy and Ben.

We shopped around. Other companies provided simple designs or accepted our (ok) design. Ian looked at our design, politely said it was fine, and instantly came up with a genius design that incorporated limitations (lower than normal windows) and functionality (direction sink should face). Our 10/10 rating is not exaggerated. Our kitchen turned out to be better than we ever imagined. The team at Copacetic was simply excellent. We'll just list a few points:

1. Like we said, we shopped around and Ian quickly stood out as the only true expert. In this industry, most people order cabinets from a catalogue. If you want a company experienced at building and assembling kitchens, choose Copacetic...it makes a difference.

2. Ian gave us advice about other kitchen items, like handles, counters, appliances, etc. We never felt like we're bothering him or anyone else at the shop, although we might have with all of our questions :-).

3. The quality of the material, the stain, and the overall assembly was perfect. In fact, having the owner on site, ensuring that the work is perfect, checking every little angle, verifying every detail, was priceless.

4. Enough about Ian :-). The other staff was a pleasure to work with. Let us personally thank (in no particular order) Louis, Dennis, Gerry, Danny, Jeremy, and Ben. You were all a pleasure to work with. Louis was always assuring with a "we'll solve that" attitude. The rest of the guys that assembled the kitchen were extremly creative at problem solving. They may not have noticed it, but on a few occasions they told us "we want to make you happy." You did care and that meant a lot. We've hired good contractors but this attitude is rare and says more about this company than anything mentioned thus far.

Bottom line, this is a local Toronto business employing the smartest and the nicest people. We plan to add pictures, hopefully by March. Good luck to all!

Bathroom reno

We had Copacetic build a vanity and over-counter cabinet for our bathroom reno. Ian was very helpful in all stages of the process, including making a great suggestion which improved the design we had initially suggested. He also gave us detailed and very helpful instructions on how to go about installing it ourselves. It looks great, and we are very happy with the solid construction. We were also very impressed that it was completed exactly when they said it would be.

kitchen renovation

My cottage had a very small 1970's kitchen. I did not want to introduce a design that would conflict with this era, but rather meld elements that gave a nod to that era while making the space modern and user friendly. Ian and his team really understood this sentiment and worked hard to create a kitchen that maintained the integrity of my cottage while bringing it into the 21st century. The gorgeous cherry cabinets and custom kitchen blend together in a visual treat that not only creates an ease and a flow, with a place for everything, but makes cooking a great pleasure. The professionalism, product quality and attention to detail that Copacetic Woodwork exhibited bespoke of their many years of experience in their trade. A great job well done!

Entire kitchen cabinet design and construction

When we undertook to rebuild our infill house in the Birchcliff area, we wanted a quality cabinetmaker that was in our neighbourhood. Copacetic not only was convenient, but the design and execution of our custom kitchen and two bathroom vanities continues to this day to wow our visitors. Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail "closed the deal" for us and we look forward to many many years of enjoyment in our new kitchen. A good example of how they went above and beyond was how we were able to inspect the kitchen, fully assembled in the shop before installation. This was invaluable to us for seeing how our design was going to look like when installed. I would recommend them without hesitation.
