Cinderfella Chimney Sweeps

Cinderfella was recommended by our real estate agent when we purchased our new home as it was not clear if we would be able to use our fireplace and we were aware that there was no damper. It was quickly established that it just needed cleaning and the damper, and also a cap thingie on the other chimney to stop stuff getting into it. The work was done quickly, cleanly and efficiently, and I was shown how to operate the damper and given some tips on using our fireplace and sources of firewood. I will definitely use Cinderfella for future cleaning and repairs and highly recommend them.

When Cinderfella came by, they seemed really nice and did a fine job. However, after the cleaning, I had another service man come into my place, and he looked up the chimney and said that there was no lining to the chimney, and pulled out sereral loose bricks from the chimney. I assmed that Cinderfella would have picked that up, but they didn't. It ended up costing me more to have someone else come in and redo the job.

Cinderfella responded quickly to our call for help due to a blocked chimney which had extinguished our gas. They came out the same day, which was a Saturday, and removed the blockage (a squirrel's nest and the pesky skirrel that had decided to make its home in our chimney). They came back to install a new chimney liner the next working day. They knew what they were doing and were pleasant and friendly to deal with. I would certainly use them again.
