Craig from CB came quickly to estimate the cost, did the job quickly after agreement, was clean, quick, left everything tidy. Very good work and excellent price. Wood was cut into small pieces for fireplace as requested. Highly recommended.

We had several trees that needed work on our property, including a large locust whose canopy over-hangs our driveway. The CB Tree crew did a great job. They're skilled and hard-working and they pay attention to detail. Pricing was fair and value for our money was excellent. My wife and I are very satisfied and will use their service ongoing.

We had a large willow whose major branch came down during a thunderstorm. Actually it was still attached to the tree and was leaning over our telephone wires. The city bylaw officer declared it a hazard and ordered us to cut the whole tree down immediately. When Craig looked at it, he told us the tree could be saved, and he was willing to challenge the city arborist's ruling on it. However, the tree's trunk straddled my neighbour's property and we had agreed to share the cost. The neighbour wanted it down, so we ended up bringing it all down.
It was a difficult job to do, but these guys did it well. On top of that there was another dead limb on my neighbour's tree that the bylaw officer wanted removed, and Craig and his crew came back the next day to cut that one as well for no extra charge. Plus he dropped off and raked out some of the mulch onto our property as we had requested. I can't believe what a bargain we got, and what great service!
So if you're ever in a similar situation with the city and you want to save your tree, Craig is the guy to call. Or if you have any other type of work you need done with a tree, CB Tree is a great company to work with and at the same time you'll likely get the most reasonable rate available.

We called these guys to have a small spruce removed from our front yard. We did some shopping around, and these guys were both the nicest on the phone and the highest-rated on this site, so we called for an estimate.

They came and gave an estimate, which ended up being cheaper than the others we got. They even offered to do the work on the spot, but I needed to consult with my wife first.

We called them back on a Saturday, expecting to leave a message, but they answered. They were able to come and do the work within an hour of our call (on Saturday). We called the other companies back to say we went with someone else, and got voicemail for all of them - none were working on Saturday.

After the work was done, they were even able to give us tips on how to do some of the ongoing maintenance ourselves to save from paying someone else to do it.

Go with these guys, trust me.

To put it simply, these guys are the absolute best. You are just wasting time, money and effort if you call anyone else.

It isn't easy to do, but they surpassed my expectations completely.

Tree Trimming We had huge trees that needed to be trimmed as well as some wild bushes. Craig and his crew did a wonderful job (in scorching heat)in trimming everything back. Plus they cleaned up the site of all the foliage and "chipped" all of the branches...and took everything away with them. I can't say enough about how good they were/are. I would highly recommend them.

I had to get the trees removed by on order of North York. As a woman on my own I was really worried who to get. The city came to show me which trees to cut. Craig came right after and said no problem. I paid him ahead . The price was reasonable and he called me when the trees were cut since I dont live there anymore.
There arent many professionals you can trust ,paying ahead. This time I new I could. If you get him you will know why.Elisabeth
