Just wanted to thank everyone at Carick for working on my kitchen. I think it looks terrific and I really like it. Everyone at the company were very helpful. A special thanks to Vince and his guys (Paul & Alfredo) who were such great people and made everything so easy for me. Thanks also to Carmela who took all my calls about the elevator bookings!

I am writing to tell you how happy we are with the most recent renovation in our house by Carick Home Improvements.
About ten years ago my first experience with Carick was the complete demolition and creation of a new kitchen and addition of a sunroom, carried out by Thomas and his helper. I was so pleased with the results I decided that if ever another renovation was needed ,I would be calling you and requesting the same team.

Ten years later when we decided to convert a bedroom into a new bathroom I needed only one call to you to discover that Thomas and his assistant Nikko would be assigned to the current renovation. The work expanded, as you know, and is now complete. Thanks to you Thomas and Nikko everything was completed in a timely fashion and we are very happy with the results.
I will have no hesitation in recommending Carick to anyone planning a renovation.

It was a pleasure working with Geno Scopeletti (Carick Home
Improvements), who took on our kitchen renovation plus myriad other home improvements last year (including completing a second floor air return which our HVAC contractor had agree to install and then abandoned). On the whole, Carick was on time and on budget, and we especially liked working with their talented subcontractor for carpentry and plumbing, Thomas. Geno was great at listening and responding to our concerns as the project went on, and adjusting its scope to our wishes and choices. After consulting with his cabinetmaker and designer, Mario, we largely designed the kitchen ourselves, and are thrilled with the results. (We found Mario more challenging to work with than Geno, and eventually decided it was better to let Geno interact with him on our behalf.) We encountered some other unexpected challenges with our century home along the way, and Geno was very helpful at recommending professionals to help us overcome these. We had a warm/cool relationship with his electrical contractor, who did very nice work for us but also disregarded some important instructions leading to a costly error.
Now, a year after the start of our project, and eight months
after its conclusion, we have our dream kitchen and are very happy indeed with the results. We lived in the house through
the renovation and Carick was great about keeping the worksite clean at the end of each day and setting up a temporary
kitchen in our basement which made this possible.
Geno has also been very good about sending contractors back to correct little problems and details as they arose, even correcting a minor error in our design. Carick stands by their work. We hope to use Carick for further renovation projects in the future and and would gladly recommend them to family and friends.

It was a pleasure working with Geno Scopelleti of Carick. He provided a top notch employee (Slava) to completely gut out and renovate our only Bathroom. The project consisted of converting the Bath Tub stall to a full shower unit. At the end of every day of the 3 week renovation, Slava made sure the facilities were accessible for the Family. There was one part of the renovation that needed an Electrician in order to proceed with the work. Geno made arrangements for the Electrician and was on site with quality workmanship. During the renovations Slava made suggestions to enhance the appearance of our finished Bathroom. The Bathroom project was completed on time and slightly above planned budget due to being an older home with unforeseen issues until the Bathroom was completely gutted. Our first project with Carick Home Improvements was our front Veranda 8 years ago. The project was completed on time and within the planned budget. The quality of workmanship was excellent along with the finished product. We would recommend Carick Home Improvements to all of our fiends and neighbours. We would also use Carick for any of our other Home Projects.

I have had so many compliments on my kitchen renovation. I am absolutely delighted with the results—thanks to you, Joel and your Carick team.
All the tradesmen who worked on the renovation did excellent work, were very polite, and left the area immaculate at the end of each day. Also, I would be remiss if I did not thank Carmela for her help in the skylight lighting design.

Carick completed a bathroom reno for us. It was a small bathroom, They completely gutted the room and installed a custom shower with tile. The tile work was excellent. We were happy with the result and did not have any issues with it after the work was done.

This is the second bathroom renovation done for me by Carick. The first one in 2011 was such a good job that I went back to them for the second bathroom renovation. I was given an estimate with everything that was to be done in writing. The work was done to a high standard and on time. On one or two concerns I had during construction the company responded immediately. Payment was by initial deposit (10% approx), 30% at the half-way point and the balance on completion. After several months the first renovation needed some caulking renewing. I called Carick and the response was immediate and the job was done within two days. Carick was recommended to me by a friend and I have no hesitation in recommending the company to others. I will certainly be using them again and I have already discussed the next job with them.

The renovation of my two bathrooms was done in time, with quality workmanship at a fair price. I am very impress with the professionalism and the caring for our well-being with every attention to make life as comfortable as possible during this period. Joel and his team did everything feasible to please with attention to detail and providing advice to create the perfect bathrooms. I will recommend Carick Home Improvements with confidence for all type of custom or renovation work to everyone. Thank you Joel, Thomas and Nicky for an excellent job well-done!

We were extremely pleased with the work done by Geno and his team at Carick Home Improvements. In addition to a terrific kitchen reno, they also installed new slate flooring on the main level, laminate flooring in the basement, and reconfigured our master bedroom to provide us with added space and a much more appealing and functional layout. The work was performed on budget and on time and we found the staff and contractors to be friendly, helpful and very professional. We would not hesitate to recommend Carick to others and would definitely use them again in the future.
