Busch Movers

Hired Busch to handle my move on Jan 30/2011. Carl (head mover) Gary and Paul were the team of work horses that showed up. They were on time, efficient, careful. They were up and down stairs from 9:00am till 3:00pm without taking a break for lunch. Would definitely recommend. Make sure you have some gatorade or energy juice in the fridge for them!

I decided to consider Busch Movers despite the bad reviews as the person with whom I spoke on the phone assured me the company was under new and improved management. I trusted my instincts and I am glad I did! The movers - Carl, Jeff, and Tim were not only on time but were hard working, professional, courteous, warm, and very positive individuals! They did a great job in helping us move our 1 bedroom belongings. I would recommend.

This company was referred to me by my real estate agent. I read the reviews and became concerned that the reviews were really bad. I spoke to the person in charge and he assured me that this was under previous management so I took a leap of faith and I'm glad I did. It was a small move that consisted of the equivalent of a one bedroom apt. from a house to a storage unit. They arrived a 1/2 hour late but only took 2 hours for the move (plus 1 hour travel) and the 2 movers (Jeff & Tim) worked so hard and they did an excellent job. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. In fact, when we move the items from the storage unit, I'll be calling them again.

I wish I read the reviews on Busch Movers because I would never have used them. The reviews are an actuate description of their service or lack thereof. They arrived four hours late because they overbooked. Initially they were not willing to compensate by providing an extra mover. Eventually they agreed but I had to pay a little extra. Obviously, this is not acceptable considering how late they were. When Busch finally agreed to grant an extra guy they spoke to me like they were doing me a favour. I later learned from a friend that the owner (Terry) has four other moving companies. One of these companies is Cross Movers, which is actually the name on the invoice when I paid. If you call the company the person you will deal with is Catherine. Both woman are nice on the phone until there is an issue. When it came time to pay they wanted to charge me for 6 hours even though according to my stopwatch it took 4 hours to move. They tacked on an extra hour for driving. This was not what I was told on the phone. I even had them fax me the contract a few days prior but no where does it state an extra hour will be added unto the bill.

They were late, mean, and almost looked like they were doing us a favour. Damaged our furniture, and blamed it on us. Did not wrap anything while moving. Threatened us about leaving in the middle of the job with halve of our stuff out side, because we told them to wrap the furniture in the truck. I guess we might somehow hurt their feelings. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy! Learn from my mistake do your REASERCH!

This was the most horrible moving experience ever. They were almost 13

hours late, arriving at 1:30 AM!! At that point we had done 95% of the move

ourselves. No one at the office could tell me anything except that they were "on

their way". The movers used loud, terrible language, and they threatened to leave.

Their driver couldn't drive a stick shift! We had to actually back the truck into

our driveway ourselves! They didn't bring the mirror boxes I had ordered. They had

no tools or tape to wrap the furniture, they scratched the walls at both houses.

They didn't cover the floors, they scratched my front door and did minor damage to

some of my furniture. Though they knew we had a piano to move, they didn't bring a

piano skid, or a belt and needed 2 of us to help them get the piano onto the truck.

Then they refused to bring it up the stairs at the new place. I had to wait 2 days

to get my piano delivered. Rather than apologizing, the owner called me a name. I

would rate them at 0 stars.

NEVER EVER go with this company.
They showed up 4 hours late, were terribly rude over the phone. Every time I called to find out where they were, they gave me a stupid excuse. Every time they said they would be there in less than 30 minutes.

Eventually, I had to find another mover. When I called Busch Movers to cancel, the lady over the phone cursed and hung up. STILL, 4 hours later the truck showed up demanding to do the job.

Arrgg.. a nightmare company.

The guys came on time, and was very professional and very reliable. They moved my furniture in no time and was very careful with my belongings. They even did extra work that they didn't have to do! Needless to say I gave them a big tip. I would recommend them to anybody who wants to move!

First day they showed up 3 hours late and we couldn't do the job because it was too late. The second day they 1.5 hours late. Both days they managed to screw up the arrangments I had made with them. As well as mess with the arrangements I had with other deliveries and appointments.
