Bonavista Pools

Bonavista has been historically great at servicing our old hot tub, but when we moved we wanted to buy a new style hot tub and have it built into a modified deck. Rob Irvine, the Sales Manager that helped us out, did an exceptional job at all stages -- the purchase of the right tub, fair pricing, etc. but he really took charge of much more. He coordinated delivery to coincide with our backyard renovation and directly communicated with our contractors. He made sure that the orientation of the tub, the lid lifting mechanism, etc. would work perfectly and he came to the house and spent well over an hour with us to get the tub started and to train us. We love our new hottub. Bonavista, Rob and his delivery team all did an outstanding job for us and we couldn't be happier. Rob, thanks for everything. Your product knowledge is superb and you give real meaning to the term "customer service". Thanks again!!

This was our first hot tub purchase so sales/installation support was key to us. Our backyard was a tight fit so that was also huge concern. Spent 2 months researching and visited numerous stores all over city.
Rob Irvine, Sales Manager at Bonavista provided the best support by far. He immediately set us at ease by visiting the house and developing an installation plan.
More impressive was that on the day of delivery Rob was there hands on working with the very polite delivery crew. Having the sales Rep on site at delivery is unusual and hugely appreciated. It went very smoothly. Afterwards Rob stayed while we filled the tub and taught us how to operate.
We have been enjoying the tub for 1 month thus far.
Pricing for the Hydropool Serenity tub was also very competitive.

We originally went shopping for a hottub, we went to quite a few different places in the city, but we eventually went to check out a Hydropool at a recommendation of one of our friends. That's what brought us to Bonavista Pools; and we're so glad we did.

Rob Irvine, the Sales Manager that helped us out, did an exceptional job of helping us find the perfect hottub for us. We found him to be honest, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and an all-around-nice-guy that really cared about us and our purchase. He answered all of our questions, and made us feel like we made the best decision possible when it came to us buying a $15K hottub.

Rob organized a flawless removal of our old hottub and installation of our new hottub, and then came by a few days later to walk us through how to use it - all of which were things we said that we wanted that Rob certainly delivered on.

We love our new hottub, and use it several times a day! A BIG thanks to Rob and the delivery guys for doing such a fantastic job from start-to-finish. We still plan on visiting Rob (for chemicals, products, and chats about the hottub), and when the time comes for a new hottub, we won't go anywhere else besides Bonavista Pools.

Jennifer provided us with excellent and informative advice with regards to outdoor furniture especially with regards to its function and durability. We ended up ordering a terrific sectional which was delivered very speedily!

We had the unique experience of being able to try our swim spa out in the middle of winter in Jennifer's showroom with our two children in tow. Jennifer made us feel very comfortable doing so (even with all the splashing). After she demonstrated the features of the spa, she had drinks and towels waiting for us. It felt like we were visiting her back yard :) We bought our spa that day.
Because we live in Guelph it wasn't practical to have Jennifer do our landscaping. However, she worked very closely with our landscapers, ensuring they understood the specifications to build a bunker to sink the spa underground. The spa was delivered on time and went in without a hitch. Jennifer came to Guelph personally to explain to my husband how to open the spa and maintain the chemicals. She also brought my children their first pool toys as a gift which was very thoughtful.
The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. Jennifer is warm, friendly, and very knowledgable about her products. We felt no pressure to buy.
We've gone from spending no time in our boring, extremely hot back yard to spending ALL of our time in our back yard. Our friends think the spa is a brilliant idea because of the fact that we can use it all year round. We have not hesitated to drop Jennifer's name to our friends. Thanks Jennifer, we love our spa!

Canadian Choice recently replaced the old patio doors that we had in our home. We were referred to Oliver, the sales rep, by a friend and after looking at a couple other companies, we decided to go with Canadian Choice. We were really impressed with the service we received from both the sales and installation teams throughout the entire process— everybody was just great to deal with. We would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends!

We highly recommend this second generation family business who consistently provide quality construction, outstanding service, expertise and have the ability to meet or surpass our every expectation! Over the past 34 years Bonavista has built two custom pools and spas for us and then recently refreshed and refurbished our pool, spa and backyard. Our equipment was upgraded with state of the art technology. The result of this transformation is sensational! Our city backyard is now a stunning paradise! Bonavista's attention to detail, design, knowledge, experience, quality products and outstanding service by their well trained staff are beyond compare. Our experience with Bonavista has always been and continues to be exceptional!

The location of our home is very difficult, the slope and steep steps makes it very tough for the delivery. Bonavisa on the spot, built a ramp to roll the hot tub down. Jennifer was amazing! She was clear and helpful at giving us a quick review of how to take care of our hot tub. The hot tub is on the expensive side, but the customer service makes it well worth the price. We had problem with some lights and a service man came on the same day to take a look at it. He said that it would take a week for the new ones to come in, but it only took four days. They're a great company and the quality of the product is outstanding.

We had never owned a hot tub before (in fact I'd never even been in one before!) and we looked at other companies but we always felt like we had cold customer service from those places. We really had the best and warmest customer service experience at Bonavista. We had a lot of questions since we'd never had a hot tub before but they were very helpful the whole time. They set us up with an electrician and a salt water hot tub was put in. They were a bit more expensive than the other companies but we'd rather have a company where everyone is honest with us. I highly recommend them and would give them a 10 out of 5 in every category if I could! Karen and Jennifer are fantastic people .
