It might sound like a cliche to say that the flooring that Acorn Wood Floors put in our house really made it 'pop' but honestly, the combination of their advice of a well-suited flooring choice for our home and the high quality of the flooring installation was truly amazing and raised the appearance of our home's interiors to a whole new level. Im an older widow & was very worried about having to hire someone to either repair or replace my main floor wood floors that were disintegrating. I had spoken with several contractors about what to do about my wood floors when I finally spoke with Ron. He was the most knowledgeable & described the ins & outs between repairing or replacing the wood & the difference in costs. I decided to have the floors replaced & am so glad I did. Rons sons did a lot of the work and they were great. Anytime I had a question they took the time to explain things to me. I felt very comfortable having them around. I absolutely love how the floors turned out! They look fantastic! I also had the cracked ceramic floor in my laundry room replaced with vinyl tiles & it turned out great as well. Unless you felt them youd never know they werent real slate. Im so glad I decided to give the job to Ron. They did a wonderful job & I cant thank them enough. I will definitely recommend you to anyone looking to get their floors done. You made one old lady very happy!!

During our reno we had an oak manufactured floor installed and it squeaked badly. We had been living in our trailer for 9 months and decided to live with it even though the installer agreed to redo it. Cabinets, Island, and trim had all been installed on top of it and it meant a patch-up look to the redo. After 11 years we had had enough and chanced upon Acorn. They re-nailed and drilled and injected glue under the floor and into the joints. It doesn't show and it Worked! Thanks

This project was seamless from start to finish. Sandy helped us choose the perfect product for our project. Ron and his crew were excellent on the installation, with Ron adding a log cabin corner at the direction change in the hallway and a framed-in detail around the fireplace. His room connecting transitions are perfect. The baseboards were carefully removed and put back. The crew cleaned up at the end of every day and the project was completed within the time frame given. We highly recommend this family run flooring company.

Acorn did an amazing job patching our 100 year old hardwood floor. There were several fairly large areas that had no floor and they did such a nice job you can't even tell where the gaps were. They also sourced aged wood for the repairs so the color match was perfect.

I cant say enough about Ron from Acorn, I had another company come out and install flooring and it was a nightmare, its only been a year and the joints of the flooring were broken and one even completely cracked, Ron came out and managed to replace the worst area, you can sure tell the difference in the workmanship. and the Clean up was like he was never here.

Our hardwood floors badly needed refinishing as well as the hardwood stairs to the basement which were unsafe and not level. Acorn floors came in and did a fantastic on the stairs which are now level, safe and no longer squeak and the floors look like new ! I have used Acorn floors before and I knew from experience that if you want the job done properly Ron from Acorn is your man. Some other companies may be cheaper BUT they will cut corners to lower the price and you won't get the best job as you will from Acorn floors. I can't say enough about the quality and professionalism of this company.

Hired Ron and the Acorn team for a new material install, repair and refinish of existing material.
The mix of old and new material was flawless, the finish is exactly the colour we wanted.
Some early deficiencies in the stain work were addressed and corrected.
