Our house had numerous electrical deficiencies as we bought it from the original owners who built it in the mid-50's. It had also been recently hit by lightning. We essentially had the whole house rewired - they did leave whatever wiring in tact that they could, but all circuits were redone, the panel replaced and a whole house surge protector installed. ALL the people we ever dealt with at Solutions were a pleasure to work with. They were professional in every regard: on time, on task, considerate, honest and on budget. In fact, they ended up doing more work, requiring more people on the job, than the original work order, but still stuck to their price. They worked on our house in a manner that told us that they really cared about us and our home. I cannot say enough positive things about them. I have recommended them to anyone that will listen. I WILL hire them for any future renovations or electrical work.

The electrician arrived when scheduled. He was polite and courteous, making sure not to wear his shoes in the house. We had a problem with the light switches not working in a few rooms (they are 50+ years old). In about an hour and a half the problem was found and solved. Would recommend.

I called Solutions Electrical because we were looking to have a two exterior GFCI outlets installed on our house. Tony at the company was very knowledgeable and quoted a reasonable price. After looking at some photos of our electrical panel, he also recommended a surge protector, which we added to the job.

The work was done on a Saturday morning, which was very convenient as I didn’t have to take time off work. The two electricians were very good and the project was completed in a couple of hours.

We were very pleased with how the project turned out and will definitely call Solutions again next time we need some electrical work doing on the house.

The company did a good job. They troubleshot the issue, and the technician was in touch with others in his office for assistance. They solved the problem. Did not overbill. Good followup on the work. Always returned my calls.

Downtown Toronto Condo - I wanted to remove wall sconces, get the walls patched, and put in a new box for a ceiling fixture in 2 bedrooms. I also wanted a dimmer to be replaced in my kitchen. I spoke with both Frank and Tony in organizing the work to be done - they came to see the place to price the work in advance and the quote was exactly what was charged to me. Joe from Solutions Electrical did the work and he was pleasant, professional, and worked hard to minimize the amount of damage to the wall that would have to be patched later. The job looked great, clean, very professional. They also put me in touch with Peter - a drywaller / painter who did an excellent job at patching the wall, sanding, priming etc... and painting. I was very pleased with both the smooth process and the result.

I have watched Solutions on the Mike Holmes shows for years and have appreciated Frank's commitment to "doing it right". That's the reason I called them when I upgraded our service to 200A and replaced the panel. They were professional, courteous and explained what they were doing. I will definitely will call Solutions again for any electrical work on our house.

I had an issue with a short constantly occurring for an unknown reason. I spoke to Frank and he quickly got someone out to my house to investigate. Joe came and quickly isolated the problem and fixed the issue. I would recommend these guys in a second

I called Solutions Electric to look at a plug that wasn't working in my home. After speaking with Frank he arranged for a call the next day. Joe showed up promptly after calling to let me know he was not too far away and would be there within the hour. Taking a look at the situation Joe was able to assess the problem and resolve the situation quickly and correctly. I found him completely professional and very courteous fixing the problem and making sure he explained exactly what was going on. I had my problem resolved and was given a very fair price.

I have been working with Solutions for 4-5 years now, found them on the Holmes on Homes site. They focus on service quality and have a genuine care for their customers. I have had multiple jobs from them and will not go anywhere else for my electrical needs!!

Several electrical issues were identified from a pre-purchase home inspection report. I called several electrical companies to get a quote on the work required. Frank took the time to ensure my husband and I understood the issues and best to resolve them. The in-home quote with Frank gave us confidence to hire them for the job. On the day of the job, the electricians assigned to our job were prompt, friendly and very mindful of our property. We have a project coming up that wlll require electrical work and plan on hiring Solutions Electrical again!
