One of the Worst company's in Ottawa to have your roofing done by.My elderly parents needed a new roof done following the hail storm we had in august of 2012.The "owner" came by and and gave the estimate and was very nice and explained the materials and all that stuff up to this point no problem.He advises them that they will start working the first week of October which never happened so around the 14th a convoy truck shows up to drop off the "supplies" and drops them on our roof and the driver tells us they will start tomorrow that why they are leaving it on the roof..the 24th is when the workers decide to show up to start this roof and now keep in mind we are the smallest house on the street ( a bungalow) the worker show up at 10:30am and by 2pm they tell us that they are tired and going home since they leave from smiths falls every morning..??? so by the time they took the old shingles out the house next door which has 4 stories has been completed...so a few days goes by and no roofers even those it seemed that every other roofing company in Ottawa was working those days.They did not install one shingle correctly as some shingles are not even nailed..others have nails driven so deep that the first gust of wind it will come right off.There is the deck of the roof exposed in some areas..no drip edge at all ..they cut some shingles on the roof and cut right trough to the shingle that were already "installed".So we contact the "owner" brother which is suppose to be a "partner".This gentleman could not stand the fact that he was dealing with my wife(while i was at work) and kept raising his voice at her and telling her she knew nothing of what she was talking about..but what he doesn't know is that my wife has been working in the industry for over 7 years for a roofing supplier and knows very well how a roof should be installed.Now once we ask to register with what is called the GAF golden pledge warranty which comes with a 40 point inspection we were told no because they needed to know before starting because the roof wold of been done differently??? so refused to have their work inspected.Now we are waiting at the moment for the "owners" to come inspect the work..we were told in the morning we are now 1 in the afternoon and still nothing so please save yourself the trouble of hiring this "company" they have no work ethic once the owners leave they could not care less about the work or the client.We have involved GAF which certified this company to be "master elite" roofing contractors and we were told that they will not hold that certification very much longer as once they reviewed the pictures they could not believe what they were looking at .Other master elite contractors in the area that will do better work,
