level the sunken driveway with the garage floor
My single car garage has the asphalt driveway in front sank about 4". Alex with his crew cut out (using a concrete saw) an area 10'x7' asphalt in front of the garage; regraded with sand and compacted; added hot asphalt and compacted with plate compactor, so that the new asphalt is level with the garage floor. They also sealed some bad cracks on the driveway. The whole job took about 4 to 5 hours in the morning. I am satisfied with the outcome since it solved the problem of water collecting in front of the garage (in winter time, it was like a skating ring) and also now I have a smooth transition from the driveway to the garage. I will definitely hire Alex again if I have jobs that is within his scope of expertise. Thanks Alex.
