We went to Dressew to get some material for costumes for a small TV shoot. We had been warned that they had tonnes of stuff but were not very helpful. They do have a wide variety of things including material, masks, props, trim etc. We asked for direction to the type of material we needed and were able to find it easily. The sales person seemed to be a bit annoyed that we couldn't take time to look (the place is very big!). We asked to have the material cut into 2 lengths but were told they only did one cut. So we bought the material and came back to the cutting table and did it ourselves - one of the other sales people helped us. We found exactly what we needed including some props/glue. The costumes and props turned out great!

I was on my way to the basement and from the top of the stairs I saw a squirrel at the bottom. My son and I managed to get it out of the house. As a renter, I contacted my property management company who called PCO. They were supposed to call me when they were on the way. I waited past the time they were due and when I called their office, I found that they had the wrong number. Almost immediately the control officer called and came directly over. He didn't want to proceed with the work because the property manager wasn't available to OK the work. When I explained what had happened, he agreed to cap the chimney where the squirrel had entered. He also told me that a nest had been built and cleared it as best he could. This was about 5 months ago and no more squirrels!
