I found Royal Deck through an internet search for deck companies who had experience with second floor decks. My desire was for a 21 ft by 14 ft raised deck where I would have a separate railing company install an aluminum and glass railing and privacy screen. After looking at a couple of decks references provided by Miro, and after speaking with the deck owners, it was obvious to me that I had found the right deck company for my work. Miro is great to work with and very accommodating. Miro, Steve and their crew did a fantastic job on the deck. It is built to last and is really beautiful. I get many compliments from guests. My back, sides, and front lawns were full of weeds and no top soil thanks to the crappy original home builder's work. I needed it all replaced with new sod, as well as the addition of a back patio, side pathway for access to a new walkout basement entrance from the front driveway, and some front landscaping to increase curb appeal. Mike met with me, had some great ideas, and provided a quote within an hour. The price was in line with other estimates for similar work; however, Mike had a better solution for the side access. In addition, I liked his professional yet personable, knowledgeable approach to his work, and I got a positive feeling about him from the first intro. I was hoping his business values were indicative of the rest of the company's efforts. I was not disappointed, from speaking with Cathy in the office, to having Sahak and crew on site to do the work. Everyone was very customer-focused to deliver a quality installation with the right attention to detail. I am very pleased with the final outcome (as are my neighbours by their compliments).
