THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE REVIEW AND FOR THE KIND WORDS. THE TREE IS MUCH SAFER NOW. THE THINNING OF THE CANOPY WILL LIGHTEN THE WEIGHT LOAD ON THE BRANCHES AND YOU WILL ENJOY MUCH MORE SUNLIGHT TO THE BACK YARD AS A RESULT. YOU SHOULD BE MAINTENANCE FREE FOR 3-5 YEARS, BUT SINCE MANITOBA MAPLE ARE SUCH HARDY GROWING TREES YOU'LL WANT TO REVISIT TRIMMING IT AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. WE'LL BE READY WHEN YOU ARE, UNTIL THEN ALL THE BEST, CRAIG.
