Shandyman Contracting framed my basement after it had been excavated. This also included sistering all the joists in the ceiling and installing a new stairway from the ground floor to the basement. Structural work was done to facilitate the new stairways resulting in a new floor and walls for a section of the store above. This is an old occupied building and the work crew were careful. Shandyman's crew followed the structural engineer's drawings according to plan and the City Inspector was satisfied with the work performed. The crew was excellent at working with the ground floor store owner as some of the construction work was necessary but inconvenient.

Leveled ground replaced 375 sq.ft. of patio stone on the Jackman Street side of Carrot Common. Over the years the original stone had heaved with the winter thawing and freezing causing water to pool. Adam Sidenberg, the owner of Leveled Ground is knowledgeable and prepared a quote and schedule for the work to be completed. His team know their business and were able to complete the work on schedule in 3 days. It was important for us that team knew how to work around the tenants and that they did a good job of cleaning up before departing.

Two cracked skylights and a third one that was leaking were replaced in September, 2016 on the flat rooftop of Carrot Commons on Danforth Avenue. The work was professionally handled in coordination with our staff. The craftsmanship was excellent as the crib around the leaking skylight was repaired before the new one was placed on top of it. I liked that the skylights were made in Canada and of the nine that we have on the roof these three are the most attractive.

Thanks for your feedback! The skylights we used were the Velux brand.....the most popular brand and leading manufacturers of skylights today. Thanks for the repeat business - we really appreciate it! All the best from the staff and crew at Skylights Unlimited.
