We call it a real wizard job because in about an hour James and his partner make disappear 300 bucks from my pocket. Troubleshooting about 45 minutes we mix a washroom exit with the roof vent for the dryer and 15 minutes job on the roof removing the screen from the vent and the lint build up behind. James is a smooth talker but the job not so much. He left the lint on my roof and the wind blow it to my neighbor yard so I have to collect it and this was the only think he did I did the rest with the dryer no wonder I did no like the price.

Company Response

Thank you for providing feedback and I apologize if our service did not satisfy your expectations. We set a high standard for ourselves in making sure the customers home is deemed safe and not a potential fire risk due to a lint clogged dryer duct or a building code violation within the duct run.

With your residence the dryer ducting run after conducting the initial inspection and vent line check did not exit out the side of your home as you originally mentioned but went vertically up from the second floor laundry room into the attic and out to a roof vent. We accessed the roof to view the roof vent while conducting the initial inspection/ diagnostic check to determine why you were experiencing longer than normal drying times and immediately noticed that your dryer roof vent was not to code having a screen attached to it which was fully clogged with lint.

We then explained to you this blockage was a very serious potential fire risk issue and provided photos and recommendation the screen obstruction be removed, the roof vent cleared of all the lint that had collected inside and finally that a full vertical dryer duct cleaning be preformed from the roof in order that your dryer ducting was cleared of all the lint that had accumulated inside it. Prior to conducting any work we also provided you with the cost.

The majority of work was completed on the 2nd story roof of your residence. I apologize if we weren't able to collect all the lint that was removed from the vent line during this cleaning but please note the photo you attached for this review was taken by the technician to show you the amount of lint that was being cleaned from the ducting. This lint was collected from the roof after the cleaning and was not left.

Again our goal and number one priority is to make sure the customers dryer ducting is safe and not a fire risk when we have completed our work at a residence. I am sorry your experience of the service provided was not satisfactory.
