I wish I knew of HomeStars before replacing all my pool equipment. A couple of years ago I had Total Tech replace my pool equipment along with changing my system to salt and installing a control panel. There was many things along the way I was very displeased with. (don't remember names now..but was for sure dealing with the "owner"for a major part of the installation) His communication was very poor and derogatory towards me. The equipment was to be set up in a new location, (as I found out later) they did not leave good spacing between the equipment and run the lines in the most efficient way. They ran wires through the side of the shed, when I asked them to run them through the floor. There was a problem getting the equipment started...he blamed it on the electrical set up and said it had to be changed, but wouldn't say what the problem was and wouldn't talk to the electrician. It ended up he had to call the equipment manufacturer to talk him through the set up. I wanted a bypass drainage valve put in, he asked me what for...he was going to leave me with no way to drain my water! Over the phone, I inquired about purchasing a timer. They sold me a $300 panel, that could control and diagnose all kinds of things I didn't need...needless to say there was cheaper options, my fault I didn't shop around to know them. Phone calls were slow to be returned. I felt that the boys that were sent to do the installation where not experienced enough. I would not recommend them.

We are truly sorry that Leanne feels this way and has not contacted us to discuss especially since the equipment was installed in 2008 and we have performed additional -non- related work since then. We have thoroughly reviewed the file and the process was handled properly and by industry standards. The main issue was the electrical hookup which was performed improperly by her electrician . This was immediately conveyed to her and it was further stated that we are unable to tell her electrician what to do as we are not licensed electricians. As soon as this was corrected we programmed and set it up properly. All the equipment was operating properly and we re-visited several times to teach her how to operate the system. Prior to her purchasing the system everything was explained in full. We invite her to contact us at any time if she wishes.

Had my roof replaced this summer by one of Titans crews. After about 40 hours of research covering everything from contractors, shingle manufactures, how to shingle a roof, and viewing jobs already completed by the roofing companies that I narrowed my choices down to, I was completely confident in selecting Titan Roofing to do my roof. Shaun was a compete professional. From our first of many contacts, he was very personable, thorough and available for my multiple inquires. The job was competed when he said it would be. I was home when a good part of the work was being done. The weather was very hot and humid those 2 days, so I invited the crew for a swim. Got to know them a bit seemed like great guys, and very respectful. Shawn stopped by and met with me during the job, to see how the guys where doing and if I had any questions. They did a good job of cleaning up. I had 6 estimates (most from the best of HomeStars reviews), then narrowed it down to 2 which I talked to extensively and reviewed their work. It was an easy decision, I wanted Titans to do my roof. The price was competitive. I had 2 layers of shingles removed on a 2500 sq ft house. (75 bundles of shingles) I did have some extras that added to the cost. I went with CertainTeed Landmark singles which consumer reports recommends in this grade/type of shingles.(This was a harder conclusion to come to as all shingle makes have had lots of class action law suits against them. Hopefully things have improved in the last couple of years.) So to this day, all is looking good, after some heavy rain falls and windy days, all is intact and not leaking. I hope this review will help others with selecting their roofing contractor. Thanks Titans you all did a great job, and I totally recommend you.

Hi Leanne you are so kind and I think the public should know the truth. You spent about 80 hours instead of 40 and my phone bill is much lower now. I think I heard my phone ring once at midnight...was that you? LOL
To be more serious with you Leanne, you brought in some top notch companies and were requesting a top notch re-roof and the overload of information must have been overwelming. In the end you recieved a roof with quality work and product...and it wasn't cheap. It was a hard earned buck, but business is never too easy.
I am flattered that you went with Titans through all your research. I actually hope that all my potential clients do a little research on a product and company because I stand a better chance. It is not difficult with all the web has to offer.
I say research should be done with Homestars, BBB, referals, live site appearances, completed work for you to see and sales first impressions. You did all this and thats why you made your decision with confidence.
Thank you so much and thanks for the fantastic review Leanne,
Shawn.
