Healthy abode came to the rescue after we discovered the guys doing the electrical work at our 90 year old home were wearing masks as a precaution against asbestos. And we could instantly see why, despite the plastic barriers they had put up there was very fine dust coating all the floors and some of the other areas in the home. Unknown to us, the contractor was supposed to ask us to certify that the home was asbestos free BEFORE any work was started. Timing is everything as they say. We phoned up Healthy Abode on Friday evening when we discovered the situation. The labs would not be open on the weekend, so Healthy Abode offered to come out first thing Monday morning to take samples. We packed up the dog, the kids crashed at friends places and my wife, me and the dog spent 3 nights in hotels afraid to sleep in our own home. Monday morning Healthy Abode showed up a few minutes early. Took all the samples they thought we needed plus some additional ones we requested. Everything was logged, photographed and bagged. Totally professional. They expedited the delivery to the lab and we had our results for the asbestos testing the next day (lead paint a day or two later). Great news, no asbestos! Very little lead. Amazing. what a relief. DO NOT miss this very important step in any renovation. Asbestos is about as bad as it gets and can be hiding in wallboard, drywall tape, tiles, adhesive, window putty, concrete, you name it. Put your mind at ease. Call Healthy Abode and get your home tested BEFORE starting any work. Your family will thank you.

Michael and his crew at ACEZ Demolition did a great job taking down the roof over our front porch and demolishing an old wooden garage. Work was done on time, site was left clean and tidy. Michael was very professional and easy to deal with. Very happy - It's too bad we don't have more stuff to demolish. I highly recommend Michael and his crew at ACEZ Demolition.

Second time we have hired IKEAMan to assemble office furniture from IKEA for us. Great job, nice assembler (same both times). On time, everything done properly, very careful about table heights and level (adjustable legs on desks). Neat and tidy - all packaging bagged and ready for building cleaning staff. I don't think I'll ever do it myself again!
