I found Drapery King online and saw a pattern I had been searching for on their website photo gallery. When I called to see if the store was open (during a long weekend), the store owner Mark said that the store was closed but since he was there I could come by. The store is stocked with a large variety of beautiful and reasonably priced drapes and fabrics. Many very modern and contemporary options. I had a clear idea of a pattern I wanted and Mark was able to show me a few different options at different price points. I took my time going back and forth between two drapes and I never felt rushed. He had some good advice in what would work well for the "feel" of the room. I am very pleased with the product and the drapes look great. The only reason I did not give them 10 stars is that I really like a good deal and although the prices were very reasonable, they were not stupid cheap. That's just me and my budget though.

I have shopped at Affordable Textiles several time and most recently to buy black out lining for my drapes. The store is jam packed with a large variety of fabrics and notions at a very good price. The shop owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about the products. There is no pressure to buy anything and I've gotten some economical suggestions. If you are claustrophobic this is not the store for you. If you are willing to squeeze through aisles for variety and a good deal, you will be fine.

I have used Troy at GTA Wildlife three times now. Once for squirrels who managed to get in to my roof, once for mice, and just my luck, once for both squirrels and mice. This review is a little after the fact so I don't remember the prices. Whenever I've called, I got a quick response, even on a weekend. I work close to home so Troy was able to give me 30 minutes notice so I didn't have to wait at home. I thought this was respectful of my time. Each time I told Troy what issues I was having he knew exactly where to look and what to do. He is clearly very experienced. Not only did he get rid of the squirrels that got in to my roof, but he also repaired the holes where they got in. He put the mouse baiting stations in different areas of the house that he felt would be efficient and they were gone in a week. On top of this Troy is a really friendly and down to earth guy. I was referred to GTA Wildlife by a friend and I've recommended them to my own friends several times.

I found this store online from the flooring manufactures website and when I called, they quoted me a reasonable price and I drove to check it out. I put down a deposit with plans to pick everything up the next week. Just my luck, everything in stock. I went out of town, sent my husband and when he went there he was told I had paid in full and was told to go around back and pick up the floors. Without figuring this mistake out, we got a ton of rude, belligerent calls saying we're thieves who took the flooring. My elderly mother didn't know what was going on was told she was a thief and that they were going to report her to the police. When I figured out what happened and called back I offered to send the payment immediately through email transfer or credit card, neither of which they accept. My husband drove back the following day to pay and was treated like a criminal. No acknowledgement on the their part for their mistake. The person there made a remark that he should have known and when my husband expressed that they should have also known he got a snarky remark in return. When he addressed how they spoke to my mother they simply said they did not feel they needed to apologize. On top of this, although a small cost, they charge 25 cents for debit transactions and do not tell you. I noticed after I looked at my statement. It did not match my receipt amount. I will never do business with them again. I've given them one star because I did get the floors I wanted. Not worth the pain in the butt. Very unprofessional.

I had my eaves replaced last fall because they were in terrible shape. I did a little online research and after getting a couple of estimates, I decided to go with Smart Roofing. They seemed very knowledgable and trustworthy. The day of the installation they arrived on time and were very professional. During the installation they explained their procedure and their choice of materials which all lined up with what I had read. The work was completed in one day and by appearance you can easily see the skill of labour. My partner asked if he could hang from the eaves like the picture on their website but he was told no. None the less they look, and have proved to be very sturdy.

My am over the moon with my new windows and doors. They are absolutely beautiful and the crew at Consumers Choice did an excellent job. The crew were very courteous and professional. The work took place over 4 days and each night my home was left nice and tidy. My home is older and the old windows were in bad shape and improperly installed. There were a couple of raised eyebrows when they saw what they had to work with but they were completely professional and never made a complaint. (It has happened that another contractor complained about how hard the job was and seemed less than enthused to be fixing my house.). Instead they were very informative and explained their process and why we were losing so much air with the old windows. The quality of the work as very good as well. You can see that they are very seasoned and knowledgeable. The only snag was with scheduling. The last job they did ran a day longer and I was only notified that we would have to change our start date on the morning they were supposed to come in. They were very apologetic and completely flexible with finding a new date though.

Paul and the Falco Landscape Design crew did an amazing job on my front and back yard. I am not the kind of person who can maintain a grass yard, and I'm sure my neighbours would attest to that. There was a lot of overgrowth and weeds growing in my yards and I joke that missing milk carton children were in there. Thanks to everyone at Falco that is no longer the case. I tendered a few estimates that ranged considerably and chose to use Falco because he was very professional, knowledgeable. Paul was able to explain the process in detail and answered all of my many questions. During the planning stage I gave Paul an idea of what I had in mind and he made some suggestions that worked out beautifully. In cases where our visions were not the same, Paul was conscious in ensuring the project would satisfy me, the client. Paul and his crew were very professional during the project. There were a couple of unforeseen issues that caused them to arrive later than planned in the morning but this was not really an issue. The crew worked in to the evenings and an early Saturday morning as well to get the job completed. The job site was always left clean and tidy. Our yards presented some out of the ordinary challenges such as drastically uneven fences and city sidewalks but Paul was able to work around this. He went beyond his scope of his responsibilities to ensure these challenges did not compromise the outcome of the work. I was extremely satisfied with the end result of the work. My yard went from two complete extremes and all of my neighbours have complemented me on it, one of whom has asked for Paul's information. Paul made sure I was satisfied by following up afterwards and offered to come back for any finishing touches should it be required but it was not necessary, everything was perfect. I would highly recommend Falco Landscape Design. They are very skilled, knowledgeable and professional. You can trust that client satisfaction is their foremost priority. It was definitely worth spending a little bit more money.
