Mike was amazing with his inspection. I would recommend him to anyone looking at buying a home in a heartbeat. Had I known about Buyer's edge before I purchased my home, I could have been saved from a year of pain and heart ache and what is sure to be long drawn out legal process. I purchased a new home in June of 2014 and at that time had the property inspected by a firm my realtor recommended. This was a huge mistake. The report that I received was a glossy report noting nothing but cosmetic issues. As such I completed the purchase of the new home, after all I had an inspection completed and I had new home warranty.... BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. After 10 months of nothing but issues including plumbing leaks, furnace malfunctions, electrical glitches, etc, I hired Buyer's edge to come in and complete a thorough inspection. He found code violations all over the place. The house was not worth even close to what I paid for it, and for all you new home buyers out there... home warranties all have limits on what they will cover. I am now in the middle of an expensive legal battle over the negligence shown. Had I known about all these issues last June, I would have walked away from the house without a second thought. In the future I will go to Buyer's edge immediately and not listen to any realtor recommendations. I needed to know the truth and not have issue glossed over to ensure the sale completed.
