I went to start up my 23 year old furnace for the Fall/Winter season and it did not work. I spoke with a friend about this and he recommended that I call Erfan at Kanata Development. When I spoke with him he was cheerful and told me that he would come to see what the problem was that afternoon. When he arrived, he was able to get it going but it immediately "choked" out. He did a Heat Exchanger test and told me that it was cracked and due to its age, I was better off getting a new furnace. We spoke about models and although he did have cheaper ones, I decided to go with a Lennox model. He supplied with me a quote which I compared with other on-line prices. His quote was competitive and due to his great attitude, I decided to have him supply and install it. He arrived the very next day with his helper Farzad. They were both extremely cheerful and accommodating. During the install he discovered that the existing indoor natural gas pipe was not straight. Although this took a bit of time and some parts, he told me that he would fix it at no additional charge. Due to the fact that the vent pipes were installed before the basement was finished and that they were not to code, he had to run new ones. The space was very tight and he somehow was able to hide new exhaust pipes in a floor joist and run them outside. I acknowledged that this seemed difficult and he told me "no problem". He removed the old furnace, boxes and garbage and cleaned up everything. The installation was perfect and it looked great! He also looked after registering the warranty. I was very impressed with his attitude and knowledge. He will be returning in the Spring to install a new Air Conditioner Unit. If you are in need of a furnace, air conditioner or water heater, I highly recommend that you call them. Their work is top-notch!

We purchased a house and the chimney and a couple of window sills were crumbling badly and needed urgent repairs. We were recommended to Simon by a friend. When we spoke with him he told us that he was very busy but would come by and take a look. Once he saw the condition of the chimney he re-arranged his schedule so that the repair could be done. His quote was reasonable. He was friendly, easy to speak with and punctual. The repair was done perfectly and he left the site clean. We are extremely happy with his work. If you are looking for a great stone mason, I highly recommend that you give Simon a call.

David and his crew did a fantastic job. We had a Tudor style home and wanted to update it to a stucco finish. The job was completed in a total of 9 days and looks great. crew worked from 7 am to 7 pm, 6 days a week. The only thing you should be aware of is that when the Styrofoam is rasped, it creates snow like conditions of small Styrofoam balls that go everywhere (including neighbouring properties). Although the crew did a fairly good job on their clean up, we were left with cleaning up the Styrofoam residue for a couple of days. Considering the fast and radical transformation, it was well worth it.

Thanks very much DAVE, I am proud my company perform very well. Our jobs are done in Accordance with the "ONTARIO BUILDING CODE" and as far as Insulation, even Well Above building Code in most cases. The Styrofoam bits is a problem in this industry and our company is working very hard to try to solve it.
