I keep coming back to Silverback, and for good reason. Aaron and the crew upgraded my ageing circuit breaker panel and added a generator subpanel. As always they were on-time, courteous and competent. A couple of minor snags, to be expected on a project of this size, were dealt with promptly and cheerfully. 10/10!

I've had "Team 5" from AspenClean Tri-Cities coming to our place monthly for almost a year now. They are great -- coming back home after they have been is like walking into a freshly cleaned hotel room! I'm not normally home when they visit but the times our paths have crossed they've been friendly and cheerful. I was initially skeptical about the "hippy dippy" aspect of the AspenClean cleaning products, but I have to say that it's nice not being overwhelmed with overly scented chemical smells when the cleaning is done. I recommend AspenClean to everybody who is looking for a cleaner.

Centra replaced all of the cheaply-installed renovation windows in our 40 year old house, which the previous homeowner had had installed. The windows leaked in heavy rain and were starting to cause problems. Fortunately Harry, Mike 1, Mike 2 and pals were on the case and ripped them out in no time, replacing them with extremely solid new-construction windows that have been so well installed, I think they've become part of the house's structural support! It's absolutely amazing what a difference it makes to noise and drafts, and while it hasn't rained yet, I am absolutely certain we won't see a recurrence of the leaks. The guys were on time, polite and cheerful, and did a great job cleaning up the site after. Centra definitely are on the more expensive end, but you get what you pay for, and while I am fairly sure I'll never need my windows replaced again for the life of this property, but if I have any similar work I won't hesitate to call on Centra again.

Sidney came out and demolished my rotting wooden shed, built a new foundation, and erected the replacement composite shed. He worked quickly and effectively, and responded to me messing him around by a last minute spec change with professionalism and cheerfulness! The new shed is solidly put together, and the foundation is so well built if there's ever a tornado coming through, that shed won't be going anywhere. I'll be having Sidney back again for sure.

Off the back of his Homestars reviews I gave Aaron a call to resolve an issue where I had drilled into a wire behind some drywall. He tried everything he could to resolve the problem without cutting a hole in the wall, which I really appreciated (it did eventually need to be cut, sadly). I liked his attitude so much that I immediately pulled the trigger on some LED pot lights I have been wanting to have retrofitted in my bedrooms since we moved in. Yet again I was impressed by his approach as he managed to remove and replace my crappy 1970s switch boxes without damaging the drywall, something akin to construction brain surgery. By the time he and his colleague left, it was like the lights had always been there. Aaron's quote was fair and the final invoice reflected it exactly. Throughout, he was approachable, good-natured, showed attention to detail and he went the extra mile. As a new-ish homeowner, it's a huge relief to have a trusted electrician in my contacts list. The only problem is, now I have no excuse for putting off all the little electrical projects I have in mind! Sorry Aaron, you're going to be busy...

My experiences can probably be summed up thus: the end of the day, after the inspector had departed, I was left feeling like *I hadn't paid enough* for the service. From first to last, things were absolutely exemplary. Erica called me literally seconds after submitting the online booking form, and I glided through what was probably the most pleasantly efficient phone call I've ever had. My experience went from strength to strength though when I met Jon, my inspector. Consummately professional, Jon had a twinkle in his eye and after latching on quickly to the fact that I was a first-time buyer, he was particularly patient and good-humoured, and explained everything from the technicalities of the inspection through to some home maintenance tips and even negotiation techniques for dealing with contractors. Just by noticing some new wood in an odd part of the crawlspace, he picked up on some water damage that had been repaired. Our house has a particularly high ceiling in the living room, and one catchphrase of his, "always look up" stuck with me and will no doubt help catch some maintenance issues early in the future. All professional services should be like this! I'd recommend James Dobney Inspections without reservation. When you book, ask for Jon!
