This is the first review that I have ever written. I’m compelled to do so because the service I received from Westcoast Kids are so terrible. We purchased a build-to-grow crib and a matching dresser last October for $2500 from Calgary. About 3 weeks ago when I was trying to lower the mattress support, I noticed all 4 inset nuts on the footboard piece have moved further back into the holes, making it impossible to safely attach the footboard piece to the left or right crib ends as the bolts cannot 100% grab the nuts. I flipped the footboard piece, leaned to the rest of the crib, and took a few pictures to show them the problems; Surprisingly, the store manager concluded without seeing the actual piece that we have installed the footboard backwards. I reached out to the owner in Richmond who later blamed the dry weather in Alberta for causing the wood to expand so the insets moved. I’m speechless for their inadequate knowledge and attitude. My advice is to never shop here because you know for sure they will fight you hard if anything goes wrong. I will never come back to Westcoast Kids ever again!

We recently hired Mike to do an inspection on new build and we were extremely impressed by Mike’s professional work. He patiently checked every aspects of the house and backed-up all deficiencies in the report with the building code. I’m glad we had everything fixed before the builder’s warranty expires, and I would definitely recommend Mike to anybody without any reservations.
