I have been working with Kathy Quinn of Quin-teriors for approximately 5 months, since August of 2014. I contacted her to assist me with decor elements for my new house and I’m so glad that I did! We have started with the family room and dining room and my husband and I are extremely pleased with the results. These rooms are turning out beautifully and are exactly what we hoped for. Kathy has assisted us with selecting lighting fixtures, furniture, artwork, lamps, fabrics for pillows and chairs, and a paint colour for the re-finishing of a dining hutch. She has also helped to determine the ideal furniture placement for each room. Kathy does a great job in tailoring her recommendations to the style of the client rather than her own style. She understands our tastes very well and seems to know exactly what we are looking for in each room. As a result, her pre-selections and suggestions for furniture and accessories have been spot on. I am very impressed with her ability to know what we will like and make it happen! Kathy responds quickly to emails and phone calls, and is always thorough and detailed in answering questions. I have appreciated her honest feedback when I pass along my own ideas for furniture or accessories! Kathy also has great contacts in the trades. She coordinated re-finishing an old dining hutch and reupholstering an old chair on our behalf and both pieces turned out beautifully. The work was flawless. These previously outdated pieces have been transformed so they look contemporary and fresh, yet they have retained their character and charm. In addition, Kathy’s seamstress did an amazing job sewing custom pillows for us out of fabrics Kathy and I selected. I would definitely recommend Kathy to anyone look for assistance designing their perfect room or a full house. You will not be disappointed!

Hussein and his team did a great job installing 12 pot lights in our master bedroom and second floor hallway. They were professional and worked quickly - the job was complete in less than 3 hours! Hussein arrived exactly on time and assessed the space. He recommended the number of pot lights to install and the appropriate placing. He used markers on the ceiling so we could see and approve where the pot lights would be placed. Once the work was finished, they vacuumed the floors and there was no mess or dust at all. The lights look beautiful and we are so happy with them. I would definitely recommend this company for pot light installation. They are excellent!

Marian and his crew did a great job moving us from a condo in Toronto to a house in Aurora. Prior to the move, Marian came to meet with us in person and provided an estimate of how long the move would take based on the amount of furniture and belongings we had. Their pricing is based on an hourly rate + additional time added for travel, with no other fees or hidden costs. It is straight forward pricing. I also found it to be a very fair and reasonable rate compared to other moving companies in Toronto. It was not the lowest, but was far from the highest quote we received. On the day of the move, Marian and the other two movers were highly professional. They worked quickly and efficiently. Time was not wasted. They did not take breaks, other than a 1/2 hour dinner break on the way to the new house while we finished cleaning the condo (we were not charged for that time). Valuable and breakable items were handled with care, and wooden furniture pieces were wrapped well to prevent scratches. Unloading the truck was also done quickly and efficiently. After unpacking, we had nothing broken or damaged. They took great care of our belongings. The actual cost of the move was very close to Marian’s estimate. Choosing a mover can be difficult as there are so many companies out there and not all of them are reliable or honest. Toronto Pro was amazing and we were so happy we chose them. I would highly recommend Toronto Pro Moving and Storage! You will not be disappointed with their service.

I researched staging and had high hopes that it would result in selling our condo more quickly and for a higher price. I reached out to Barbara expressing interest in her services; she quickly replied and we set up an initial consultation. During the consultation, Barbara and Bentley walked through our condo and provided suggestions for furniture removal, fixture updates, and new paint colours for two accent walls and the master bathroom. We implemented their recommendations and were very happy with the results. Removing specific furniture pieces helped the condo to feel more spacious and the new paint colours brightened up the space. We also took Barbara’s suggestion for changing our kitchen counters to quartz (they were previously laminate). It turned out to be an excellent suggestion as they looked fantastic and became a new selling feature for the condo. On staging day, Barbara and Bentley staged our condo beautifully! We were so happy with the result. The furniture, accent pieces and accessories they brought in made the condo feel more contemporary and stylish. Everything blended so well with the existing colour scheme and style of the condo. The furniture layout and strategic placement of mirrors enhanced each room and made the condo feel huge. They also used many of our own furniture pieces and artwork, just in different ways and in different rooms. In was interesting to gain a new perspective on placement of our own items! We were extremely pleased with our experience with Barbara and Bentley at AlphaOne. And you can’t argue with results: our condo sold in one day after only 3 showings, for $3k over-asking price. In addition, we set a new record in our building for the highest selling price for a non-penthouse, 2-bedroom suite! Amazing! I am a true believer that staging works and AlphaOne can help you to achieve great results with the sale of your home.
