Following up to my review on our initial experience with Atlascare after we had duct clieaning and AC Repair. About a month after our AC tuneup and repair we noticed water pooling around our furnace again (from AC unit presumably). It's a long weekend of course... but calling Atlascare there were pleasant staff who answered quickly and responded quickly. I called last night late and they came this AM early! Steve came and was very professional and pleasant. He explained what he was going to do and his thoughts on possible problems. He quickly determined it was a plugged drain hose and thus water backing up. It looked like sawdust and I believe the hose was working fine in the past. I suspect that some door replacements we did pushed this dust into our system. So I don't think it was related to a lack of initial servicing at the tune up. He also helped look at a rusty area that he felt was due to some water during furnace operatioin coming from another hose which he tried to tighten and now I know what to watch for in winter. Turns out because we signed up for the annual AC plan, the visit was covered and there was no cost! What a bonus. So the initial experience was great and this follow up was also refreshingly positive for a service company. They seem to really care about customers. I'm so happy to feel like I've found a company we can trust and rely on moving forward. Will sign up for the furnace plan for sure.

We did an extensive patio project for our new home. Darren came on time during one of our pre-purchase visits so we could plan things and get the project going as soon as we moved in. He was very nice to work with and we felt instantly comfortable with him. He did a front walkway, flower garden, left a conduit for electrical wiring later on, driveway borders, side walkway with patio stone on one side and flagstone/river rock pathway on the other side, a large back patio with a step because of the sloping grade and 5 large steps to get us from our backdoor down to the patio. Throw in some flower beds and we're done! They came on time to do the job knowing we needed it done for our daughter's 1 year birthday and tey did not dissapoint! Our neighbours commented on how hard they worked compared to other contractors that they see in this neighbourhood. The crew was extremely pleasant. They arrived each morning around 8 AM and got to work. Each day I was amazed at what they had done. My wife who was home said they were really working hard to excavate and ensure the ground was well prepped (most of the work it seemed). We had another patio at our old house and don't remember them doing such a careful prep job despite really loving the job they eneded up doing. So we know they guys are good. The end result is amazing. OUr neighbours commented how the choice of stone was so much nicer than regular patio stones. We watched our neighbours landscaping crew work at the same time as our guys and let me tell you, there was a huge difference. While the other crew were taking long lunches, sitting around a lot and really didn't look like they were doing as careful a job or working as hard, our guys were just completely the opposite to that. The heavy machinery they used was really awesome, very professional. My wife and I are very happpy and cannot say enough about this company. From start to finish they are wonderful to work with and you'll not be disasppointed.

We got a quote from Dietard at Custom Lawn Sprinkers. He was extremely pleasant and made us feel comfortable that we were dealing with a well established company. The quote was professionally presented, typed up, customized and included brochures of the products in a nice folder! The most professional quote we have received. We unfortunately cannot move forward with this project at this time, but we were very impressed with the company and the process up to this point and think that anyone interested in lawn sprinklers should consider them when obtaining quotes.

We were trying to get gates put in to close off our yard because there was a fence but no gates. We were rushing because we were trying to get things done for our daughter's first birthday. We were looking for Iron gates, but because it was going to take time to get them ordered, we decided to get wood gates installed instead to meet our deadline... We discussed the project with a few fence installers, but when Paul Muir provided his quote, called us in follow up, and then met with us to discuss things, we knew he was the person for the job. He was very professional. What impressed us most was that he strongly recommended that we wait for the iron gates because he didn't want us to make a rushed decision and not be happy with the end product. We followed his advice and although the gates did not come in before the birthday party (not his fault and we were well aware it was going to be close because it took 4-6 weeks to order), the party was fine and the gates were not missed at all... but we are soooo happy we got the iron gates instead of wood. They are just so nice and feel great. We know that it was better that we waited for the iron. We'd have regretted rushing for wood. The moral of this long story is that this is a company more interested in your satisfaction than just getting the job and moving on. Some issues with installation arose because of the way our existing fence and our newly installed interlock was setup, but they were able to work out solutions. Thank you Maximum Fence!
