We bought a Nest Thermostat, and after contacting Nest we found out its rare but we needed some extra wiring in order for our thermostat to work with the furnace. Nest sent us a list of recommended dealers and Reliance was one of the first on the list, so we phoned them. The tech we got kept complaining how dumb and annoying the thermostats are, basically telling us its a waste of money and they break all the time. He didn't even end up wiring it properly and we had to fix it after we left. I don't think he had any idea what he was doing. He also kept saying how they shouldn't be on the Nest approved companies to work with and he's pretty sure his boss doesn't know about it. Needless to say, we're glad Nest refunded us the money to have him come in or else we would have been complaining for sure.
