We joined this company 5 years ago, when it was ADT and things were great. As soon as Telus bought then, thing started going downhill. The slightest change to the system is almost impossible. The people on the phone are mostly not in Canada and totally clueless and unhelpful. Often, you end up spending hours on the phone haggling with them, as they transfer your call around to other people who have no idea what you said to the last person. If you ask for a manager to call you, they say you get a call in 24 hours. Then no one calls, or if they do, the so-called manager is just as clueless and has no idea why they are even calling you. We are now actively looking for another company to change to. I definitely recommend against going with Telus. It gets a 0 out of 10.

Extremely dishonest place. The rugs are probably worth $300 but tagged at $3000. He dishonestly tells you that he has a refund policy on the items in the store, but he will NEVER honors it. He keeps repeating to the customer "if you don't like it, bring it back", trying to sell the rug when you are not sure. He has a very strangely worded store invoice all trying to mislead the customer on this issue. He sneakily puts 1 day in an "approval" line, which he tells you in the store is to charge your credit card after one day because he doesn't charge cards the same day, but when you return the item he tries to twist this around that into meaning you only had one day to return the item! Beware every sale is a final sale. He will never exchange the rug or return your money. Save your money and shop elsewhere. That's my recommendation.

We acknowledge your review. Kaarma values sincere customer feedback. We have been business for over 18 years in Mississauga and one thing our business has always been proud of is our honesty, integrity and customer service. Our return policy is clearly indicated in the sale invoice and we always do our best to accommodate our customers if they have genuine exceptional circumstance. As per our records, there was one single incidence so far this year where we had to deny a request for refund. In that instance, the customer brought back the used carpet after 21 days of purchase and wanted to exchange whereas the store policy is 1 day for exchange or return. Certainly, you must agree that it is unethical business practice to sell a used carpet to another unsuspecting customer. Imagine if you were that unsuspecting customer! That would indeed be a dishonest conduct on our part!

They charged us 75% before and 25% upon finishing. Unfortunately we paid him the final installation before fully checking to see if everything worked. In the weeks that followed, we had nothing but problems. I am a pretty tech savvy guy and have fixed most issues on my own, but for the couple of times we really needed them to help fix something, they were nothing but incredibly rude, unresponsive, and dishonest. They wouldn't return phone calls, emails, or texts. The guy that we were dealing with, Paul would never return messages and finally told me to call the office. Their office has some young girl working who knows nothing and actually told me they told her nothing and kept her out of loop. Her main job there is to run credit cards for payment. Dealing with Paul and and the rest of them was the biggest nightmare. They were only nice when they wanted money, and afterwards did not backup their work or provide any service at all. They would aggravate you beyond hell just to return a phone call. They also charged much more than the competition and sold crappy older model equipment as we found out later. They sold us a Nuvo music player when it was going out circulation as newer models have come out. If you use them, be very careful and watch over them like a hawk, because their installer will take accessories that come with the new equipment in the manufacturer's box, and even take your old still-working equipment without you permission. They took several of these items like this out of our house when we were not watching. DO NOT USE THEM!
