Dan was my neighbour for the first 5 years that I owned my first home. A late-seventies 4 level split that had potential but was in rough shape. I planned to put in the work to transform the house. Dan was the best neighbor I could have had. Instantly likable and just plain helpful. Once we had our kitchen planned out, Dan installed poured-in-place concrete countertops that turned out fantastic. He taught me how to do the things I wanted to do myself, and and made sure that everything turned out exactly how we wanted it. When I tackled my backyard (landscaping, stamped concrete pad, new sod, new fences), Dan made it super easy. Once again, he helped me decide exactly how I wanted things to look, and helped me execute - bobcat excavation work, design of the concrete pad, ordering of materials, pouring and stamping the concrete. There are countless other things that Dan did to help me with my first years of owning and renovating my house. And he did them all as a neighbor just trying to help me out. I never hired Dan as a contractor, he is a friend willing to put in countless hours lending me his expertise to help me feel like I could take on any project. Dan is a guy that will help you solve problems that you can't take on yourself, give you honest advice as if it was his own house, and keep his word. Dan is a good dude that makes your day better.
