This spring we contracted Cando Renovations (Bert) to remove a 40’ support wall in our basement. The engineer that we hired to provide drawings , permits and advice explained.Due to the large span of the new beam the kitchen floor as well as some of the drywall might get damaged. However once our project was completed there was no damage to floors and walls. Once the steel was in place we contracted Cando Renovations to compete the work with rebuilding the walls,electrical and trim work. We are very happy with the final result. We now have a room with a view. We did however have one problem. At the time of the renovation the central vacuum was damaged. I noticed this approximately two months later. I called Bert he came the next day and fixed the problem, again with no damage. Our experience with Cando Renovations has been a good and we look forward to working with them in the new year.
