From start to finish, Simon and his team were fantastic. This was a difficult job due to the angled and open stringer Scarlett O'Hara style staircase, and also due to properly installed tile (heavily glued) and a heavily screwed-down extra of plywood which both had to be removed before a new layer of plywood could be installed to create a professional base. Simon was professional and easy to work. Even when we encountered a few unexpected and difficult challenges, he patiently suggested the options and we problem solved together. When I pointed out a few minor issues during the install, he immediately did what was necessary to correct them. Simon made sure every detail was taken care of including installing felt pads on every single piece of furniture before moving them back into place. The whole team was personable, easy to talk to, professional, and took care to keep everything clean during a very messy install! I couldn' t recommend SB Hardwood more.

Everything was excellent from the beginning through finishing touches. Tony is extremely knowledgeable and professional and took care of every detail requested. The staff were equally experienced and professional and checked with me throughout the project on any key choices that they thought I might want input on. Finished product looks fantastic, big improvement to the exterior appearance. I have very high expectations and Blackstar met all of them! Would highly recommend.
