I called for service because my AC wasn’t working. The service dept. was very accommodating in sending out a tech when I’d be home. The tech was quick to diagnose the problem and was helpful in explaining my options. He even helped me sort through old receipts to figure out what service coverage I have on which units. A sales rep came the next day to give me a quote in case we choose to replace rather than repair. The person in parts ascertained how quickly a new part could be obtained, and the head of the service department called me to further discuss the best course of action. They all went beyond the call of duty.

The only good thing was that a staff member was helpful in choosing wallpaper. When I phoned in to order, I was quoted $454 a roll. I was told that this was because of import duties, Cdn. dollar exchange rate and the fact that English wallpapers are expensive. I felt I had no choice if that was the going rate. I was NOT told all sales were final. 1-1/2 hours later my husband found it online, from a B.C. company, for $187 per roll (60% of MacFab's price).I tried to cancel the order right away and the owner threatened me with litigation if I proceeded. Subsequently he avoided my calls and was rude when I came into the store. I will never shop here again.
