My first time using Peel Heating & Air conditioning. Had Dexter come by for a furnace diagnostic. I found him to be very professional and personable. He inspected my 17 year old furnace and concluded I need a new furnace. He also noted an issue with my humidifier and filter box. Dexter then arranged an appointment with a Home Care Advisor for next steps. We met with the HCA and decided to proceed with a new furnace purchase. Anthony & Kyle were punctual for our furnace installation appointment. They were very efficient and completed the job within 5 hours. Had a very good experience with Royal Overhead Doors. Their sales representative was named Ed, and he was great as he took time to go through all my door options including determining which R-rating was right for me in terms of heat retention as well as helping me select the right windows and hardware. Palma was kind enough to co-ordinate and find an appointment time that worked best for me. The actual install was done by Carlos who had the old doors removed and new doors installed all in under 3 hours. Very impressed with my overall experience and would recommend Royal to anyone seeking to replace garage doors. A+

We selected Burl Oak Landscaping based on its good rating on Homestars for a project we did in the early summer of 2018. We had very good meetings with Mark who was friendly as we walked through the ideas for the project. Project was led by Lou'ay and I must say I was impressed on the speed and the quality of the project. I really wanted to give a higher rating however the reduced score was due to client servicing relating to several of the patio stones stained from some liquid from some of the equipment the workers used. I highlighted this to Lou'ay at the end of the project. He said he would take care of it "shortly". Over the past year, I contacted Lou'ay and Crystal approx 23 times by phone, text and email to find out when they would rectify the issue. They were friendly and said they would deal with it as soon as they could however 14 months later they have not made good. They did show up 1 day when I wasn't home however the gate to the yard was locked as they came unannounced. No subsequent effort to come was made despite our frequent communication. At this point, I believe I have been patient and respectful yet I have given up. Its unfortunate because I found the overall job to be quite good.

I recently had my basement refreshed which included new flooring, painting, pot lighting and a full build of a new bathroom. After getting 3 quotes, we selected HIP for this job, and while they were not the cheapest, their impressive Homestars rating of satisfied customers and professional communications from Phil and Elia were exactly what I was looking for. I selected Falcon Wd Windows and Doors after reading strong reviews on HomeStars. Initial correspondence with Vladimir was through email where he was able to provide me with a quote by my providing him with window measurements and pictures. He gave me a fast and reasonable quote. I got 2 other similar quotes and Vlad was slightly less expensive. I met with Vlad on an agreed on time for a more formal written quote and for him to take firm measurements. Within 2 days he come back with his partner and had both my windows replaced within 30 mins. Quick, efficient, and professional - I was happy to deal with Vladimir and would recommend him to anyone wanting to replace windows in their home. Thanks Vlad.

A neighbor of mine recommended Macklam's for a chimney sweep. They are located in Toronto and we are in Mississauga, so we had to wait a bit for them do be doing jobs in our area. I arranged for PVC shutters to be installed in a family member's condo. I met with their salesman Steve to confirm measurements and price. Appointment for installation was then arranged for a couple weeks later. Two gentlemen came in for installation which took around 2 hours. They were friendly and efficient. We are happy with the communication and overall end-to-end experience with Dynamite and would recommend for anyone considering shutter installation.

We hired Gitano based on the positive reviews we have seen here on HomeStars. We are generally happy with the job aside from a misunderstanding regarding whether we wanted the full roof or a half roof reshingled. We worked everything out having our full roof reshingled and are happy with the quality of the work. Thank you Gitano.
