Freezer was heating up randomly and intermittently. Yevhen came out same day and diagnosed the issue in minutes. Outlined the options, gave a very honest assessment about the overall life of the fridge (repair or not), and then completed the repair right there (new starter). Total visit was maybe 30 minutes all in and fridge/freezer was running beautifully right away. Would enthusiastically call him again for our other appliances. Highly recommend!

We were very happy with Avanti. We had an old back deck and some crumbling front steps and really wanted the front steps done before the winter. Peter came and assessed the job and made some great recommendations and options. They booked us in quickly and started work in a matter of weeks from initial visit. The work itself was great quality and the crew was fantastic - my neighbour (whose driveway is right next to the replaced front steps, and who was inevitably inconvenienced a bit) commented specifically on how great the crew was, how respectful, and that she wanted their info for her own steps in the future. Adnan was supervising the deck and made some great recommendations on some last minute changes (which were both great ideas and reasonable to work into both the work and the price). Dimitri who was leading the crew most days was a work horse and had great attention to detail. Overall, Peter and crew were just fantastic to work with - efficient, high quality work, keen attention to detail, and just good people.

We have an older home (pre-WWI) and needed to replace an approximately 3x4 foot pane of glass in our entry way (casualty of winter) and wanted to put on a new back door that allowed more light into our kitchen. We had a few people come out, but Mike really stood out from the start with his overall knowledge of the various options while working hard to help us choose the option that was best for us. Price wise, the door (steel, 3 panes, sandblasted with clear border, custom high quality paint) was on par with other quotes and the glass pane actually came in a few hundred dollars under some other competitors. George (installer) was also excellent, came promptly to measure and did great work. The pane actually had a manufacturing defect that prevented initial install - George was quick to call Mike who called me and he put a rush on a new pane which was available and installed within the week without hassle. The door was also challenging - more due to accumulated prior DIY work around the doorway that made a straight brick mould install impossible. George did some great custom framing and vinyl work requiring more effort (a few more hours on the install) but still all done within the initially quoted price. We had initially wanted a retractable screen which was custom ordered...but again the setup made the simple install impossible. George communicated with Mike who outlined the various options - none of which were ideal. We elected to pass and he removed the full cost of the screen from the invoice without being asked. Overall great experience - will definitely be calling them out when it comes time to do the windows...and we love the door.
