We met with 6 basement contractors before deciding upon Stan and Basement Experts because of his personable nature and his ability to understand our vision for our basement renovation. He took our design ideas and offered suggestions, many of which we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. Basement Experts also offers a 2-year warranty, so they were able to address a couple of issues like squeaky floor panels. Our basement was completed in October of last year, and 10 months later, we are happy to report that we still love it! Guests always compliment us on the quality and professional appearance. Materials were top notch, and we were especially happy Stan was able to raise most of the vents to achieve a higher ceiling for our basement. During construction, the crew was nice to communicate with and clean-up at the end of the day was great. Having said all that, we were quite stressed toward the end of the project. We were expecting a child, and while the bulk of the work was completed several weeks later than expected, there were lingering issues (electrical inspections) that pushed the final completion date. Luckily, everything was done a week before baby arrived!
