I would recommend SGT to anyone that wants to get great looking granite for a good price. Gustavo was great to my wife and I, showed us around their warehouse and was very patient with us in our slab selection. The price we neogiated on the estimate was way better than i expected for the quality of the granite we picked. The install was quick and the end result is beautiful. We are very happy with SGT and their service!

We have just installed new granite counter tops in our kitchen and main floor powder room. After much online research and shopping a few different companies, we decided to give our project to Select. Our Sales Person was Patricia and from the very first meeting, we realized that she and Select's staff were knowledgeable, experienced and committed to providing a quality product. The level of service and responsiveness from Patricia was great from beginning to end. Our calls and emails were always returned promptly and questions were answered clearly and (this is refreshing)...honestly. Our timelines were met perfectly, people showed up when they were scheduled. Nick's measuring was very detailed and precise. Now that our project is complete, we couldn't be happier with our beautiful granite counters and installation. We would definitely use Select again and will not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. Thanks so much to Patricia for her dedication to her job and her clients. I'm very happy with the whole process. Picked out the slab in person and how it was going to be cut (I didn't want any seams). The installation also went fairly smoothly. For the same price of getting a cheesy fake edging glued on (like you would get from a lot of places including big box stores) .. you could opt for a thicker granite counter from Select Granite for almost the same price.. its a no brainer!!

Recently our old counter top was starting to tear and ware due to our heavy use in the kitchen. My husband and I decided we need a new theme, and new look to add to our kitchen. So we decided to get some granite counter tops, new lighting, pot lights installed in the kitchen. Nick, Jan and the others were really helpful and wonderful to deal with. Reasonably priced and installed within this week.. What more could you ask for. Looking for a reliable company.. than go with SGS - Select Granite Tops!

Like most we did our research and tried out several places. We'd done a kitchen before and learned what not to do. After reading the reviews on Homestars we selected 3 places and compared each. Select was truly the best. The customer service is by far the best and you feel it as soon as you walk in the door. Gustov talked to us about the different stone and the best way to cut so that we would have minimal seams like this was a passion of his. We dealt with Alexandra and Jan when placing the order and we were not the easiest customers. To start, we had to rush out of town for a funeral and would be gone a couple of weeks. Jan arranged a rush templating for us so the project wouldnt be further delayed. Then I got the timing wrong and Jan had to work her magic again with scheduling. The island wasn't even installed yet but Nick helped us with a template and made excellent suggestions! Then our quartz was out of stock and Jan had to call all over and found the last 2 slabs out in Winipeg! She stayed on the supplier for us and made sure that the stone was delivered ASAP. We felt like Jan was really looking after us. I honestly believe we never would have gotten the countertops without Jan. We needed another templating after the cabinet guy moved some things around and Jan made it happen again on a rush to keep us on schedule. The quartz delivery ran us close to the plumbing schedule. Alexandra had to jump through hoops but, she got us the installation on the Friday of a long weekend. installation was perfect and everything fit like a glove. The guys were quiet and clean fussed with the tiniest details - even the silicone is pefect. I hate seeing silicone around the sink. Through all this, not only did we get a great price on our countertops which we love, but these guys worked above and beyond to keep us on schedule and never made us feel like we were inconveniencing them which i'm sure we were! we learned that they take great care of they're employees and respect their schedules as well. You got to trust a company that takes care of their people too. Thanks again Select! We're doing 2 bathrooms in the spring and will definitely use these guys then. I just hope things run smoother on our end!

Select Granite is the place to go for counter tops. The customer service from Patricia and Jan were outstanding. We had a hard time choosing our counter tops, no fault of Select Granite but in the end we were very satisfied with the quality and customer service. They were very accommodating with the timelines, delivery and installation. They were easily reachable through email or phone anytime.

We are very happy with our beautiful counter tops.

We used Home Stars to research suppliers and visited 5. Select won on the basis of:

1. Superior Product. They almost universally use 1.25 inch thick slabs versus the others who used 3/4 inch. This is a significant advantage if you are looking for a clean, more modern look without the need for a built-up nose. Tip: Whomever you buy from, visit the warehouse and pick the actual slab you want. Select encourages this; if your supplier doesn't, walk away. Also, a few of the bigger suppliers have outstanding showrooms with granite + marble samples that are very extensive. HOWEVER, when it comes to actually choosing a sample, we heard on multiple occasions "out of stock" and were steered to the supply they had . Again, with Select what you see is what you get.

2. Price. In spite of using premium slabs, their prices were competitive with --- and sometimes superior to --- the competition using thinner slab. One competitor had 1.25 inch slab but wanted a price approx. 25% higher than Select's quote.

3. Service. Tony and his colleagues were great and worked as a team --- accommodating us twice at the showroom and in multiple phone calls (to ensure we received exactly what we sought.) We had a small glitch at installation and it was quickly remedied at their cost.

In conclusion, the installed work looks great and we'd go back. Had I realized they also supply and install plumbing fixtures we would have used them for that too.

We were incredibly satisfied with the whole process of getting new granite counter tops for our new home in Shanty Bay, from Select Granite. Patricia arranged to have everything done on the budget agree to and was fantastic to deal with. Nick was up to measure and template the area on time and was nothing short of thorough and professional. The co-ordination on the delivery schedule and installation was bang on. The installation itself was incredibly smooth, even though the installer had to make some adjustments on the fly.
The new kitchen area is now the highlight of our home and I owe it all to the greatest team in counter tops at Select Granite!

We came across Gustavo at a Home show and were pleased with his knowledge and realistic pricing, including everything we would need. With lots of guidance from Jan, we selected the granite, sink and faucet, then Nick came to take all the detailed measurements-which were done with great accuracy. The timing was as promised and the installation was handled very professionally by tidy, hard workers. It was a positive experience to work with such a terrific team. We are very pleased with the results and are looking forward to another opportunity to work with this company.
